Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My husband and I had gone to Taylor Auto Sales to check out a truck, when my husband first test drove the truck it ran amazing. We instantly fell in love, we had to leave but my husband came back the next day right before his grandmothers funeral and got the truck, when he pulled out of the drive he noticed a red light or the check engine light on. He went ahead to the funeral and next day called in, he asked for someone to call him back regarding the truck. We didn't recieve that call, my husband proceeded to call in and try to seek some form of assistance to what was wrong with the truck, all while the truck progessivly got worse. My husband lost his job because he was out of work for two weeks! TWO WEEKS! Because the truck could not be moved or ran, we called in several times and noone would call us back or give us any information or help. When they finally came and got the truck it was because they said they were coming to work on it and help us, the gentleman that picked it up even said that he checked the GPS tracking and it hadn't moved in two week!!!!!!!!!! We took it to a mechanic that said that the GPS tracker was causing a short in the system, mind you two different mechanics said the same thing! Today we got a letter in the mail saying that they were going to sell the truck at auction! We called in and the woman was obviously very foolish and had no information apparently and talked out her "a*s". Finally hanging up on my husband when she ran her mouth more than she bargained for. She told us there were no notes in when my husband called in about the truck, mind you we called 4+ times in a month! This business is a all around joke, they say they will call you back never do. They say they will work with you, they never do. Don't buy here unless you want your credit ruined from the truck that does run and you lose your job on top of it! My husband just got off the phone with one of their "employees" who flat out called my husband a liar saying that payment arrangments weren't made, they wouldn't cover the mechanic work on the truck if it was at their end, even though he had told my husband in a previous conversation that they would. Mind you the paperwork had also been signed before they worked on the truck, we're not asking for a hand out, we're not asking they fix the truck if it was an issue at our end. We just wanted them to fix whatever was wrong with the truck if it was at their end, if it was at ours we would not be doing all this and causing ourselves unneeded stresses. This company doesn't care about anyone but the money, they pratically stole 1000 from us and got their truck back after they messed it up, do not buy here! DO NOT EVEN LEASE FROM HERE!

We have been in business in the Warner Robins area for 35 years.  We have not done this by ripping people off.  All of our vehicles are sold "AS IS" with no warranty and the customer is made aware of this by signing in 3 seperate places that the vehicle is sold "AS IS".  We do however provide a repair service if we sell a car that has problems OR we trade the customer into another vehicle if it has major problems. We try to check our vehicles out before we sell them, but we are a used car dealership and are not aware of all problems that a used vehicle purchased or auction or repossessed may have.

It is my opinion that most of the time when someone writes a review such as this one they are either behind on the payments and have been repossessed or at the repossession stage.

Sir/Mam, thank you for your rebuttal. I will start by saying that if they damaged the vehicle after the papers had been signed and the down payment had been made, they are liable as is any mechanic. As far as the loan being defaulted on, we made several attempts to pay them, made payment arrangements, and they broke them. As one of the employees told my husband though, he wouldn't have paid for it either if a vehicle that he had less than a month was messing up.

Did you buy the truck with a warranty or was it "as-is".  That's really the question as far as them fixing it.  If it was bought "as-is" they can help you if they like but they have no obligation to.

Then you apparently defaulted on the loan I think?  Again, they can help you or not, it's up to them.

You are right about one thing, "This company doesn't care about anyone but the money,".  That's a true statement for most car dealers.  That's what they're in business for.
