T&C Steffensmeier Kennels Selling sick, unhealthy puppies West Point Internet
I recently adopted a bulldog pug mix from T&C Steffensmeier Kennels. I was told he was vet checked and healthy along with up to date on vaccines. When I got him home, I noticed he was extremely congested and lethargic. I got him right into the vet and discovered he had pneumonia in BOTH lungs and positive for two different types of parasites, Giardia and Coccidiosis. After four trips to the Vet, three different antibiotics, and two different medications for parasites, he is FINALLY healthy. I called the breeder and explained to her the condition she sold my puppy in, she stated how cheap she sold him to me and also said how healthy he was when he left her care. This is untrue because I took my puppy, Capone, to the vet two days after I brought him home. All I am wanting to know is if there is anything I can do to bring justice to Capone? After researching this breeder, I am appalled at the many violations and the fact that they are still aloud to keep going.
