TECH MASTER Auto Repair ripoff victimized many consumers Brandon, St.Pete, Florida
A Mexican lady came desperately in need of a brake light switch. Well, the jumper wire harnass of about 10inches in length was burned. We got a price on one at the local Chev dealer of $40 list, however, it wasn't available right away. I gave the lady a price of $92 for everything. My supervisor later told her that it would be an additional $200 due to the burned wires.
I asked him why he decided to do that and he insinuated that she's a Mexican. When he went away for a few minutes, I changed her bill and tried to explain to her that this place is a ripoff joint. She was happy that I reduced her bill but I still feel that she STILL GOT RIPPED OFF.
After I got my drawer counted, I gave up my keys and told Jimmy, Steve and whoever the other guy was that I wanted nothing to do with this kind of business.
Now I'm unemployed, but I have a clear conscience.
TECH MASTER is located (Brandon) right next to the Pizza Hut (they have GREAT P'zone) on Hwy 60 and they have a sign to suck people in that is $8.88 oil change. The guys in the garage are great-but that is no consolation for the stuff they do in the office!
