This company is doing business with HOME DEPOT servicing small power tools, in this case, RIDGID. 4 Ridgid power tools were purchased at Home Depot on October 31, 2009 with the understanding that a Lifetime Service agreement would include batteries. Fast forward to March 2013, my batteries are dead and I want a replacement as per the agreement. You are given a number, 866-539-1710 to call which is difficult to navigate and the wait is long. I am now told my customer service number of C001231839 is no longer good for life but only three years, which expired, because they, (TTI) do not have a copy of the original sales receipt. This was sent to them in 2009 as part of the registration. see number R004101130. I am told by their local service center that the company has been systematically finding ways to stop honoring the lifetime service agreement. I am not the only one. I do not trust any corporate agreements, warranties or mail in rebates anymore.

This is a big corporation from Hong Kong. My research shows their US base at 1428 Pearmand-Dariy Road, Anderson, SC 29622
Corporate Number is 864-226-6511. The main man for this division is Steve Downie and his sidekick is Nancy. Good luck getting a hold of anyone besides their robotic customer service people. You might be lucky if customer service will transfer you to Steve Downie's voicemail. They are experts at hiding from unhappy customers. Nancy is in charge of warranty issues and will always tell you "no." Steve is her boss, but you will never catch him. The two are like batman and robin.
