Telebrands - Heel Stick Overcharged Credit card - no confirmation before overcharging Fairfield New Jersey
Purchased the Heel Stick online from www.heelstick.com. Price was $9.99 plus $9.99 S&H for 2 sticks. After entering credit card info, the site asks you if you would like to purchase an extra 2.5 oz (double size) stick for an extra $9.99 with no further shipping charges. I clicked OK, as this seemed fine. I then clicked "No Thanks" to the remaining 3 offers. At no time did I have a chance to cancel the order or see a total. Upon completion of the order, my credit card had been charged $60.58. This is double what it should have been.
The website offers nothing but a phone number to call for order information and even states on the website that: "The best time to call may be thursday or friday, as our representatives are extremely busy".
I did not receive an order confirmation to the email address I provided.
I am so angry right now, and I should have known better. My wife saw the heel-stick on "Pitch Men" on discovery channel, and we thought this must be a decent company.
Avoid like the plague. This company will scam you as it has done many people. I would love to be part of a class action suit, if anyone is interested.

I ordered my heel stick in early June of 2009. Still haven't recieved it! My receipt shows a charge for $23.98, but my account shows a pending amount for $25.97. Then when I went to the new "track your order" link and entered my info...it says I have a balance of $25.97 and my order is preparing to ship??? I didn't recieve any email confirmation or anything either. It says allow 3-6 weeks to ship and its been about 8 weeks now. Oh and they had the nerve to call me a few days after I ordered trying to convince me to buy something else which I declined. So we will see what happens! I sure hope they don't add a bunch of b.s. charges because my account is already low. Good luck to you other Heel stick victims! Please keep us posted with what happens.
