This complaint is in regards to false/fraudulent billing. Customer ordered internet phone service and ported out his number which was issued by Verizon Florida as 727-323-XXXX. Ordered service from VelocityTEL via internet and equipment was delivered. Customer installed equipment which only worked intermittently. Customer contacted customer support a number of times with limited results. Call logs show the amount of usage of customer's cingular phone bill of calling from his cell phone to his internet phone service to attempt to check to see if the service would work as promised. 3 way calling never worked properly nor did call waiting. Customer on March 25, 2006 ordered service with another carrier and notified velocity tel of this to make them aware. A screen printing was provided by email to Velocity tel aka Telemedium Corp. At no time did customer as for Velocity to disconnect service. Telemedium/Velocity sent email to customer stating they were going to charge customer with charges which were never expressed or discussed, accused customer of using home phone for business use and customer is on SSI/SSD and the fees which would be charged are exorbinant. Customer contacted provider and spoke with Mr. Noel Morgan who was rude, nasty and everything but professional. Customer was just as nasty to Mr. Morgan in heated argument. Mr. Morgan stated he would not release 727-323-XXXX until customer paid fees which are unjust. Mr Morgan at Velocity was adivsed equipment would be returned via DHL with tracking # 1547514XXXXX insured with signiture delivery. Mr. Morgan made many threats in which customer Mr. Johnson advised in front of family and friends would not be tolerated. Company has never fixed issues and is acting in a retalitory manner since they could not correct problems and could not support equipment which their web site stated they could giving a money back 100% guarantee, yet now they cannot deliver what was promised are fraudulently billing a disabled florida consumer, holding up the transfer of their home phone number to another provider with malice.

Copies of all email communication with this company are available for review.

Resolution Requested:

Full refund of fees since service did not work as promised and clearly stated after all measures was unable to support equipment from user end.

Equipment was returned via DHL and shipping information was provided to receiver for documentation.

Full release of 727-323-XXXX to be ported to the company which I have transferred service being SunRocket.com asap.

To cease any and all communication from Noel Morgan, CEO who was threatening manner regarding how they would and will bill a disabled person for services which simply did not work as promised.

Why you have suggested information to drop the issue is beyond us, facts are this matter has and is mute. You know nothing about the situation. It is not normal for someone to put in a response, "I have nothing to do with" sic, the company or that your only an interested 3rd party. Are you an attorney? Since you so state legal mumbo jumbo. Under the 1st amendment, facts are what they are. Thank you for stirring the pot, as we long left Noel Morgan's lousy service and went back to a real phone company Verizon. Just a word of advise, Verizon, West Central Florida Better Business Bureau, and Texas and Florida authorities attempted to have the company do what was right, yet Mr. Noel Morgan and his companies all which have been investigated failed to respond and Florida authorities instructed Mr. Morgan to cease and desist in Florida and not conduct business. Todd, I see a couple problems here with your complaint. First, and most blatant, is that you claim the "Secret service and Better Business Bureau" have traced an "attack on my router" to VelocityTel... First off, you have just opened yourself up to criminal prosecution with this Lie... The Secret Service DOES NOT INVESTIGATE DOS ATTACKS ON ANYTHING BUT GOVERNMENT EQUIPMENT, and only does so after other agencies have done the technical "groundwork" of the trace. Second, the BBB also DOES NOT do traces on DOS attacks. They are basically an arbitrator between disgruntled customers and businesses that are members. Between this, your claims of being a "good Christian Family" followed by admission of outbursts of inflamatory/derogatory/obscene comments to Mr. Morgan and his family, you are making yourself look like a complete and total fool. Be a man, step up to the plate, and admit that there are differences between you and velocity tel and let it go. Your continued slander of Mr. Morgan and all of velocityTel is going to do nothing but get you in trouble. Heck, you even posted that your Pastor said you should let it go. I have nothing to do with Velocity Tel or you, but as a 3rd party reading this in an attempt to compare VoIP phone services, you give nothing credible here to prove they have done anything wrong. Instead, you look like a complete Deranged, Rabid hothead just out to defame someone to make yourself feel better. Take a few deep breaths, say a few prayers, and LISTEN for the guidance and follow it...

Facts are you are a liar. Facts are your service did not work. Facts are you have not posted the entire record, and we have posted every last email you have posted. Keep on posting and we will simply as well. Mr. Morgan, you are a business man with very little business ethics and think by posting a response in velvet will smooth things over. Fact, we have taken our business elsewhere why must you continue to call or bother us when we have ASKED YOU TO CEASE! DO YOU NOT LISTEN? Call the Local Police and ask them about the two reports we have filed. Read your own email stating my wife and I called and woke up your children stating you were sending me to Jail. If anyone is going to Jail it will be you Mr. Morgan for selling phone service wituout FCC Approval, the Service Attack on our router which the Secret Service has traced back to your servers and the Better Business Bureau who have also been investigating your company. Fact, release our number as you promised on the phone yesterday am as we were on our way to church. The only reason you even have bothered to respond is because the editor here wont remove this posting and you are mad. Had you chosen a different approach perhaps this posting would have never happened. You still didnt answer why you blocked every email, phone number and so on so a resolution could be forthcoming. It is clear to The Plano Texas Police Department as well as the Saint Petersburg Police department we have demanded this person to leave us alone and they refuse to, so Officer M. Smith with the Plano, TX police have filed charges of harassing and nusance calls against Mr. Morgan this am Rpt # 06-54724 as well as the report taken by Officer Megan of the Plano Texas police Rpt# 06-49187 of these calls to our family's home phone, cell phone and Sun Rocket Service. In fact, Mr. Morgan called our cell this am after being advised to not do so, and was informed of us contacting the authorities. He continued talking until we hung up and filed another report with the Saint Petersburg Police here in St Pete Florida and filed report with Ofc. Noel, There were no lies and no slander in our family's opinion. You admitted you wanted to do what was right. The call was recorded. Per your request we contacted the site. The editor was emailed and a copy was forwarded to you. A response was emailed. Your mailbox refused and returned the forwarded update made to the post. In fact any email my wife or I have attempted to send you from our email has been blocked including that of contacting [email protected] to advise simply of the order which was initiated pursuant to our phone call. Three email's have been rejected which were of importance regarding this matter which you blocked, due to this block and how customer service was not permitted nor provided by you. Without communication how can you as a business owner expect a consumer to respond? As per your request we did in fact speak with our pastor at the First Baptist Church of St Petersburg yesterday and the advise from our pastor is to let go and let god lead you. We have. Under the laws of Florida, We have as a consumer we have exercised our rights to disclose our dis-satisfaction to the portals available to us since you blocked any means for us to communicate with you to bring resolution. What is done is done. You may email the editor yourself and post a rebuttal. Just a word of advise, please choose your words carefully. Our attorney Mr. J. Morgan at the law firm of Morgan & Morgan as well as ourselves are monitoring all communications as well as the blocking of your email where this perhaps could have been resolved. You blocked our email addresses we did not block yours. Is this any way to run a business these days? Perhaps you feel differently, facts are we don't care. You have agreed you would not support us or our equipment and disconnected service simply after we emailed and stated we were going to transfer to Sun Rocket. You allege we had new service 3/25/2006 which is false, service was ordered that day and under advisement of Sun Rocket emailed you as a courtesy in order to facilitate the transfer of our number. Your decision left our family's home without phone service other than our cell phones and thank god nothing happened to our home since our alarm system was connected to your equipment. Furthermore, we have nothing to say and consider this matter closed as you have received your equipment, we have obtained service elsewhere which as per our conversation stated works as promised including that of 3 way calling and truly sorry things could have not worked out and we could have remained a customer who is more than willing to pay for features and services which work. Please do not contact us, call us or contact us for any reason as we have been advised under legal advisement by our attorney to not contact you. Be advised should you contact us by any means other than regarding the transfer we will take all legal means necessary to protect our interests, rights and beliefs. The irony here is calling anyone from our company a thief, a liar, con artists, or anything other than completely honest and ethical by a person that completely fabricated almost every detail in the postings. How is this advocacy if advocacy is meant to be for fairness? I do believe that sites like this do have some good provided that there is a verification process to substantiate claims, but advocacy is meant for a voice to create In this particular case it is merely an attempt to extort honest people. Nobody has ever lied to Todd Johnson from our company. Nobody was ever rude, nasty, or anything else to Todd Johnson, so who is the liar and con artist? The only theft that took place anywhere was theft of service from us by Todd Johnson. Nobody including myself has ever treated Todd Johnson with anything other than respect and complete professional courtesy. Never once raised my voice or uttered a harsh word as he screamed obscenities at me and threatened my familyTodd Johnson even went so far as to send me an email stating that he had bi-polar disorder and apologized for his in his words, outburst. I have only been confused by his actions. Here are the correct and factual details of the dealings with Todd Johnson as recorded by our support staff. Todd Johnson signed up for our service 01/06/2006. Todd Johnson opened a trouble ticket 01/25/2006 for a flashing red light on his equipment. This indicates that he has voicemail, so the ticket was closed immediately. Todd Johnson opens another ticket for 3-way calling on January 30th, 2006. This was a firmware upgrade. This ticket was closed at the time of the upgrade. We do not hear from Todd Johnson until 02/27/2006 exactly 1 month and three weeks into his service with usthree weeks over our 30 day money-back guarantee. Todd Johnson without notification to us attempts to port his telephone number over to Verizon on 03/06/2006. We believe now that this was because his phone did not support caller ID properly. They tell him that we need to disconnect this number before they can port it. We advise him that this is not the case. He screams obscenities at our employees, so we disconnect his number at his request and against our advisement. Two days later he is calling us back screaming that we have to get his number back and turn the service back on for him. This is the first time I interact with him, and I work with him to get his service back on for him with his old number. We connect a new number for him temporarily at our expense while we try to get his number back from the carrier. We get the number back for him from our carrier, and he continues service with us. He tells two of our service representatives that he can't run a business this way This indicates that he was using our residential service for commercial use against our Terms of Service. On March 25, 2006 Todd Johnson sends an email to support advising that he had service with another provider. Under this advisement, we disconnect his service to prevent any other charges against our company, remember, he has never paid a single penny to our company at this point, and still to this day has not paid a single cent. He starts sending emails threatening us with reporting us to the FCC because it was in his words retaliatory, that we shut off his service. Today on the phone I asked him what he would expect us to do at that point and he could not articulate anything. I still do not understand his hostility or behavior. We were blasted for going beyond what ANY other provider would have done. He was advised at that point that he was to pay for the service he had used and we would be happy to port his number, where he cursed me and threatened my family. Today I called him to find out why he would say such false and slanderous things about us. He stated that his son must have done it behind his back, because he said he did not, but would contact this web site and help get this garbage removed. For whatever reason, Todd Johnson could not be satisfied with the service, but he managed to make several hundred phone calls and use several thousand minutes and physically break one piece of our equipment. Now he has managed to slander me and our company, when the only thing we ever did was try to help him. The biggest mistake I ever made was calling him from my cell phone on a Saturday afternoon, because we care about our customers that much. The only injustice here is that a small company in Plano, Texas was slanderously and wrongly accused of things that were simply not true and personal attack and lies from Todd Johnson. We have thousands of satisfied customers because we wear it on our sleeves and go the extra mile for them.

Should you choose to be retalitory be advised the state agencies, federal agencies and so on which will FULLY disprove your allegations may result in my seeking legal remedy. Tried dialing Mr. Hatch direct and the 866-460-2841 number, of which does not ring nor connect. When someone tries to call my home phone number it does not ring nor go to voice mail. I can make outgoing calls but when someone tries to return the call all that happens is continual ringing. Tried using seperate devices as Mr. Hatch suggested by connecting Seperate DSL Modem (2Wire Brand), Netgear Router (Model FS605), configured router port forwarding as per VelocityTEL manual and still obtained same result as when previous equipment was installed which is Westell 327w (DSL Modem, Router, WiFi) after Mr. Hatch indicated this service does not work with these devices although service worked perfect for the exception of 3 way calling. When first ATA had firmware upgrade these problems began. 2nd ATA was delivered and installed. 2nd ATA worked perfect until firmware was installed. Problem cannot be with customer equipment as both ATA's worked until firmware was upgraded. At this time, customer wishes to port number 727-323-5991 to SunRocket. SunRocket has assigned customer a temp # of 727-214-1699, please see my number is ported to SunRocket. Contact 727-424-9858 for any questions you may have regarding this transfer. Since this site cannot remove a post once it is posted. This post shall be our update as corrective action has been taken by Noel Morgan, Telemedium Corp, Velocity TEL and Velocity West. As my wife and I were headed out to church this am we received a call from Mr. Noel Morgan who was apologetic after seeing the posting at this website placed by a member of our family and asked we do what we could to remove the posting as he would permit the porting of our number and was not going to attempt to bill our family. In this discussion we also discussed the service which out of fairness to Mr. Morgan worked ok until firmware upgrades were made. Mr. Morgan responded there were several hundred customers using his service without problems. There was a discussion regarding our belief of retalitory action based on our moving our service to Sun Rocket which has worked perfect. Mr. Morgan insisted this was not the case and further reinterated we could move our number back to Verizon or any other carrier. Perhaps it was the posting here by our son to cause the corrective action, perhaps it was simply Mr. Morgan doing what was right. In either case whatever caused Mr. Morgan to call and be so civilized at 10am on a Sunday morning to inquire deserves recognition.
