TelNet Marketing Group Fraudulently represented themselves as authorized agent of Verizon in attempt to "slam" Raleigh North Carolina
This company has made numerous calls to us (a business) stating that they could save us money on our Verizon phone bill. We asked if they were calling from Verizon or an agent of Verizon. On several calls they said "they worked for Verizon". I asked for their proposal to be put in the form of a fax, which clearly stated that they were "Authoirzed Agents for Verizon". Verizon has confirmed that TelNet is not their authorized agent. Verizon's rperesentative said they they are powerless to deal with this situation except to freeze our account agaisnt any changes. We are writing to the FCC, the relevant North Carolina authorites and the Better Business Bureau.
