DHS is only trying to take in more children so they can adopt them out and get their rewards and bonuses! DHS has been instructed thru the document, "Adoption 2002: Safe and Permanent Homes for All Children" to double their adoptions each year for bonuses and awards. Write your congressmen/women. Get the Adoptions and Safe Families Act of 1997 and ALL of it's updated laws rescinded. They're trying to get into the 'faith community' now so they can destroy churches. Read the two documents and then or NOW, call or write your congressmen.

By all means, have an evaluation completed by a physician of YOUR choice. I KNOW, from experience, that the CONTRACTED physicians DHS or CPS sends you to will evaluate your case to favor what DHS/CPS wants in THEIR report. DHS PAYS them to say what THEY want them to say! They get high dollars for agreeing with DHS. They even use them in their court proceedings. YOU need to use your own doctor's evaluation in the court proceeding. You'll have NO help using their contractor! I can't expound on this enough! Please don't let this drop without your own private physician's evaluation. Whatever the cost, which should be covered under your health insurance, it will be FOR you and NOT for DHS/CPS. You will have absolutely NO chance for a fair evaluation using DHS's CONTRACTED physicians. REMEMBER, DHS PAYS THEM! If they don't report what DHS/CPS wants them to report, they will not receive future contracts from them. Believe me, they pay their consultants and physicians VERY WELL to say what they want them to say. THIS IS TRUE! I'VE WITNESSED THIS FACT MYSELF. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A FAIR EVALUATION FROM A PHYSICIAN THAT THEY SEND YOU TO. PLEASE BE AWARE, TOO, that the Adoptions and Safe Families Act of 1997 (ASFA) rewards DHS for every child they can manage to remove parenting rights and adopt them to their own choice. Remember, too, that your son has the option to say whether he wants to be adopted or not. He is over 12 years old. He has the option! He just needs a GOOD counselor. He COULD stay in one of their group facilities and agree to have counseling and parenting classes with you. PLEASE DON'T LET THEM TAKE YOUR PARENTING RIGHTS AWAY. Get some help outside of DHS. Do you think your son is rebelling against his parents separation OR that he may feel partly to blame for that separation. A GOOD PRIVATE Family counselor could help you and your son. There are many private counselors out there BUT if they take your case, DHS may refuse to give them contract counseling cases. One family therapist told his client that he could not take a case that in any way related to DHS because he would lose contracts with them. Those cases from DHS are money they need to keep their private business going. There are classes called "Anger Management" that would probably help, too. Those classes help you learn how anger develops and how to contain it. THEY'RE REALLY GOOD! It wouldn't hurt to take the class more than once to gather strength to deal with anger. Local community centers have them and the cost is very minimal. You might check with your local school district to see if they have a community action center where classes such as that are offered. They CAN really help. I sure hope you don't have to relinquish your parenting rights. All you need is good HELP! DHS doesn't want to give you good HELP. They want to tear down families. Again, PLEASE go to your own psychologist or psychiatrist and have your own doctor evaluate what the problem is. There is one in Oklahoma City that is very good and also has a dislike toward the way DHS handles people ... especially children. His name is Dr. Richard Sternloff. You might look into his services if he's not too far away. There's also a Christian couple that does this type of work. The wife's name is Dr. Linda Nigh. Their services are usually covered by health insurance. I hope you can find one closer to you who can help YOU and not help DHS. Please have an evaluation done by YOUR choice of a doctor. You'll benefit in the end. Be sure to get his full report and be sure YOUR doctor is willing to CONTEST DHSs contracted doctor. Remember, DHS pays their contractors to say what THEY want them to say. You need to pay one to say what is true and/or what you want him/her to say! Go for it! Don't let DHS take you under! Best wishes to you as you struggle to salvage your son!

Today is March 15, 2004 and George W. Bush, Jr. is still the President. I completed the MMPI-1 evaluation today, and have to await the results in about a week. This should be very interesting to know the results, considering that the psychologist(?) is contracted by the CPS. The question is should I ask for a second opinion after I get the result? I now have a week to ponder with I am a "normal parent". Any input in reference to the MMPI-1 would be greatly appreciated.
