In response to this complaint, while I don't agree with the companies tactics (which are very common with the company named) it is the clients duty to research ALL companies they plan on entertaining quotes from and obviously they did not do that. Nationwide Moving Services has a terrible Better Business Bureau rating (C + ) and they have a pretty poor reputation as a "broker" and only a broker. If you actually researched the company you would see that they are listed as a broker meaning they don't have any of their own trucks and basically they farm out your move to a licensed moving company that happens to be heading along the way to pick up your move. If they told you up front your move would not be subbed out, they lied!! I'm fairly certain that all of this was in the contract you signed and most likely failed to read. This is usually a case of someone going with the cheapest quote, or one of the cheapest quotes available. I am the general manager of a moving company based out of California and listen to folks all day long who say "well, Nationwide Moving Services is $1,000.00 cheaper than your quote" Well, now you all know why.
