This company did not ship a product I ordered. They did not inform me it was on back order. They do not respond to email or telephone calls. Unfortunately, I discovered too late that they make a habit of ripping off customers.

"In Stock" doesn't mean TGSCOM has it in stock!

Lessons learned:

1) "In Stock" means that one of TGSCOM's suppliers has is in stock - but not TGSCOM.

2) There is a cancellation fee on when cancelling an order in the "Processing" state ... it enters that state immediately upon clicking to submit the order - in other words, there is a cancellation fee on all orders - in my case it was to be 15%.

3) See the following link regarding TGSCOM:

http://www.bayoushooter.com/forums/showthread.php?21418-Warning-TGSCOM-Inc.-Horrible-Customer-Service. It lists a number of websites that TGSCOM does business under.

My experience:

After a week of waiting the online order status still said "Order Confirmed/Processing" and hadn't changed since the moment after I placed the order. So, I called to find out the real status. They said they were waiting on the items from their supplier.

When I told their representative that their website showed that the items were (and still are) shown as "In Stock" I was told that when they say "In Stock" what they mean is that one of their suppliers has it in stock. They told me that had I read the "Terms and Conditions" (aka Fine Print) that I agreed to when placing the order that I would have seen the following: "All in-stock items will leave our facility in approximately 7-10 business days from when you place the order" and I should have surmised from this "In Stock" didn't really mean "In Stock" and that it must be coming from somewhere else or it wouldn't take 7-10 days to ship.

After a week, they could still not tell me when it would ship so I asked to cancel the order. I was told that if I did I would have to pay a 15% cancellation fee as specified in the "Terms and Conditions" that I apparently agreed to when I placed my order.

Bottom line: I should have searched the internet for customer reviews BEFORE I placed my order, not after. I advise you to do the same.

When items are on backorder, it shows so on the website and if you call in to place an order, the Team Members let customers know that items are on backorder prior to placing their order. We do have automated emails that are sent out to customers who have an item on their order that is on backorder. Customer Support Team Members are available M-F 8am-8pm CST and Sat.-Sun. 9am-5pm CST, we pick up all calls and respond to all customer emails within 48 hours.

We do not rip off our customers, we provide excellent Customer Service to all of our customers. We can not make everyone happy though.
