We used this company twice now in the last three months dating back to July 2008. We have some water leaking in our basement. We called them to send somebody to look at it. They called us back to set up an appointment. The day of the first appointment he was supposed to be here at 10:00am and didn't show up until 3:00pm. He found out what the problem was and said he would be back in a few days.

He came back a few days later, very late again. And proceeded to fix the issue. We paid over $500.00 for that repair. Then the following week we had water coming in from the same side only a little further down. So I called the company again. He came by and said he knew where the problem was, so he ended up digging outside; it was raining a bit so he wanted to stop.

He phoned me and asked me if he could do this day. I saw that the weather was clearing up and asked him if he could finish it today please, he agreed. Then he told me he found the problem and fixed it and put the dirt back from the hole that he had dug, and I was supposed to wait 2 weeks and then put the rocks back on top of it.

He said that he had to fly to Ontario and didn't know when he would be back, but everything should be ok now. So I pad him $800.00, totaling about $1250.00 so far. The following week there was water coming in again at the same spot as Mike the service guy claimed to have fixed.

So I called the company to have him come back and fix it properly this time and they said that they wouldn't be able to send somebody out until September 22, 2008. This was the end of August when I called to report the same problem. So now we have to wait almost a month for Mike to come again for the third time to fix it properly.

I am just very unsatisfied with this company overall, I have paid them over $1200.00 for nothing because the problem still exists and the smell from the water in that section is pretty bad. I would not recommend this company to anyone I know as they did a rush job the last time they were here and the problem never got fixed.

Then this is Michael Delaney's response "We would still like to honor our guarantee. The second visit that we had to make had nothing to do with the first. As we fix visable leaks there is the possibility that more start to come out. We have not been able to see this problem to the new area so we are not even sure that it was a failure of our repair".

The company said that the second visit had nothing to do with the first. That is false. The water was leaking down that whole side of the wall the very first time when they showed up. Half of the side of the wall got fixed but the other half was still leaking water. Then the company says we have not been able to see this problem in the new area.

Again another false statement, because when they did come back the second time Mike the service guy did see the problem on that section of the wall and was surprised himself that it never got fixed from the first time. So they did indeed see the problem twice already. So he attempted to fix it from the outside as I stated in my previous complaint and for the SECOND time that section of the wall never got fixed, until I hired another company who fixed it properly.

I got a call from this company on Sep 22, 2008. This was supposed to be the day that they were to come back and fix the problem that wasn't fixed last time. They said on the message that there service guy broke his leg and wouldn't be able to make it today. For me to call them back and reschedule for another day.

I called back and left a message with them to cancel the rescheduling as I have already been waiting for well over a month for them to come back. I have hired another company to come in and fix the problem. By the way I called them on Sep 19, 08 and they are coming today Sep 23, 08. All I want now from this company is my $800.00 credited back to my credit card for the issue not being fixed and for all of the grief this has caused me any my family.

They don't even have an office set up in Edmonton. But they advertise in the Yellow Pages as if they do. To me that is very misleading.

This company is the one who kept putting it off and they were suposed to be here on Sep 22, 2008. Then I get a call on the day of from Mike with this lame excuse that the guy broke his leg and wouldn't be able to make it and I would have to reschedule. What was I supposed to do just keep waiting for these guys to finally show up and fix the problem properly.

While in the mean time the smell was getting worse for me and my family. I had no other alternative but to go somewhere else to have the problem fixed adn thank goodness I did. They got it fixed properly and even said that whoever did this last time should have seen this crack in the foundation.

The company did refund me $400.00 for my grief. They still wouldn't take full ownership or accept full responsiblity for it but I got at least half of it back which is better than nothing I guess. Dan
