This is basicaly the same problem I have with this company as many other customers with DigitalNerds. Poor customer service, false advertising.

I Ordered a Digi-Camera for what I thought was a very good price, I received this e-mail:

I returned the phonecall, the salesrep "James" wanted to sell me an addtitional memorycard and an battery, I advised him I've had a simulare Camera before and don't need the extra card nor the battarie at this time. "James" then advised me if I would like the "NEW" Camera for the price of $449.00 versus the Refurbished one for $359.00. When I advised him the camera was not listed as refurbised he got slightly upset, I asked him to hold and to disguss this with my husband and he the salesrep hung up on me.

I tried to call back to disguss my order but was not able to talk to anyone, I was transfered, put on hold, then after the 4th call or so, they finally transfered me to an answermachine, (thanks to caller ID) abiusly they did not feel like talking to me.

My husband called them back from a different phone, after the 3rd try being transfered, hung up on he finally got to a life person, only to be fussed at when my husband advised him of the poor customer service practice and the false advertisement.

When the rep was told again the advertisement does not say "Refurbished" the rep only replied: "it does not say it's new either now does it!" - my husband got fussed at a bit more and then concluded it is better if the order would be cancled.

We also sent an reply e-mail of complaint to the saledepartment of TheDigitalnerds however we receive a delivery faltiure notice: "The message you sent to thedigitalnerds.com/sales was rejected because it would exceed the quota for the mailbox"

We filed a report with the Better Business Bureau online and with EveryPrice.

I hope the CC will not be charged since the sale was never confirmed.
