The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society of Mott After working for them for some time, I reported abuse, it was swept under the rug and i was paid to leave to keep it quiet. mott north dakota
This is not a place you want to work nor a place you should leave your loved ones in! Abuse happens daily and is reported!! But kept quiet by upper management. If it tells you anything, an extremely cheap company PAID me almost $2,500 to walk away, rather than have to admit they have an ongoing abuse and bullying problem in the workplace and have it brought to light.
Abuse is reported by those few who are still decent people, but upper management keeps it quiet, and if you keep bringing up the issue they will make sure they find a reason to get rid of you. Residents report the abuse but upper management lets it go because "They are not of sound mind". Working as an aid I witnessed verbal abuse and often physical abuse to residents on the weekly bases.
Staff mocking residents and talking down to them, yelling at residents, belittling, even holding residents down with force and calling them names such as "b***h", "c**t", and "old cow". Everyone long term is essentially in everyones back pocket, no one seems to care to change anything or make waves because it is a small town, but i wouldn't treat my pets the way some of the aids treat the residents.
Not to mention the constant bullying and harasment the employes who do speak up receive. IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER OPTION FOR YOUR LOVED ONE, TAKE IT, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER PLACE TO WORK, DON'T COME HERE, GOING TO WORK HERE IS LIKE WALKING THROUGH THE GATES OF HELL EVERYDAY.
