The Event Factory As if a wedding isn't hard enough then you try to have it at a place like this Tampa Florida
Don't let the bright lights and pretty decorations fool you like it did me. Now don't get me wrong...the set up is gorgeous and makes for some pretty pictures....However, if your anything like me a wedding is such more more than that!
This place has a great concept and caters as a one stop shop. I paid 10,000 dollars for my wedding which included the facility, food, dj, pictures and video.
I got married on Oct. 6th 2007....
Lets start with the food! What we taste tested is not what we got the day of the event....our food was ice cold, and under cooked and just disgusting...in fact my husbands words were, "can i throw this across the room and order a pizza?" Just horrible!
Oh but wait...the are making up for it by giving me a free picture! How sweet, wouldnt u say? And there excuse for not compensating me appropriatly is because they saw on video that people were eating it. Well HELLO! Did they have parents who raised them with manners? Who goes to a wedding and leaves a full plate of food on the table? Not anyone I would invite!
Now lets go to the reception....my husband and I felt like we were on a model/photo shoot. Pictures pictures pictures...in fact at one point they pulled us in the back for more photos that half my guests left because they thought we were gone. It was horrible!
Now lets go to the wedding albums and videos. I recieved my proofs very quickly...about 2 weeks after wedding. They gave me a book along with it so I could design my albums which I'm still waiting to be printed. Yes, thats right 14 weeks later and I dont even have any pictures, album nothing! I'm hoping by our one yr anniv I'll have something to show people.
Oh and then the video which was recorded the night of the event....nope dont have that either....what takes so long is beyond me! My ill grandmother was not able to attend the wedding and she was waiting for the video to watch it...and guess what she has passed away before it has even been done!
Whatever you do...stay clear of this place who is ripping people off! And tell everyone you know! Hope I am able to save some people before they get in as deep as I did!
Good luck and do the wedding yourself...if u want it done right...u gotta do it yourself!
