The Laundry Alternative ripoff took payment and didn't deliver product Didn't respond to numerous complaints OR BBB letter Middletown Springs Vermont
I bought a wonderwash from this company in early May of 2006. I recieved plenty of email through customer service for questions I had that led up to the purchase. After about ten days I wrote (emailed) and asked where my product was.
I was told that the shipping person was out sick and I would be provided with a tracking code as soon as she was back.
This was the LAST email I received.
I sent numorous emails, I called multiple times a day, five days a week. I finally (In august) reported to the BBB. There was never a response. The company phone service (the only live people I could get hold of by telephone) kept telling me for months that the CEO was in Europe and would call when he got back. I was told by OTHER phone operators that it was unusual for him not to pick up his messages and call me.
At this point it has been almost nine months. I used a gift card (american express) as I am on social security and cannot afford a credit card. Because of this I have no way to get my money back. (I threw the card away).
Do NOT use this company. They sound absolutely wonderful. They do NOT have a good customer service department. And if the CEO is as on hands as the web site seems to say, then he was wilfully ignoring me.
