I am the one who originally filed the Rip-off-report. Since I filed, I reported this company and man to the Attorney General, BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. The attorney general and FTC both said that they only handle big cases, not only one complaint. They said they would keep my complaint on file and if they received enough complaints they would then investigate. However, the BBB helped me arbitrate the matter. The arbitrator ruled in my favor stating that Scott Morris and TREN do indeed owe me the $6719.00 that I paid for their course. That was ruled back in December, however, Scott has still not paid the money awarded to me. He has given me several excuses, he was out of the country for a month, said that his company is braking up etc. His web site for both of his companies are very well still up on the net. The only thing I have ever asked for is the return of this money. I would drop this whole thing if he would just keep his word, but he hasn't and won't, so I am alerting everyone that I can that you need to be careful when listening to this man. He is a smooth talker! I don't know what is truth and what is not. Throughout arbitration he continued to tell the arbitrator that he would gladly do as the arbitrator ruled. After he lost his tone changed alot. He withdrew his company from the BBB and said some very childish things. He was just confident he couldn't be wrong, however, he is wrong. He owes us money and will not pay. I am now taking action to uphold the arbitration agreement with our legal system getting a judgement against him. I am just awaiting hearing from our attorney.

Soctt Morris again to answer another unfair comment by another unnamed person. Chris from Santa Maria. Chris, we have never been to California, so where did you come from. I will continue to monitor this web site for more trash from loosers who think it's funny to try to destroy people and companies that produce value. Why do none of these people identify themselves fully. If I was known only as Scott from Austin, I would not have any reason to reply to this garbage, but my full name, address and phone number have been posted by these punks, and if I do not respond it is considered a sign of guilt. None of these people will meet me to debate the merits of their argument, because it's so much more fun for them to just use cowardly smear tactics and never have to answer to anyone. Just imagin if you were in my shoes for a minute. Being accused of a bunch of lies and no way to defened myself or my company. The fact that the Arizona AG, and the BBB both agree with me means nothing to them, they just continue to smear. It will end one day, and what you have tried to do will have diminsished your life in the process. You are all faceless and nameless cowards. I stand here fully exposed with nothing to hide. You can't hurt me anymore than you already have. I hope for your sake it felt good. What you will suffer as a result of your dishonesty later in your life will not be so pleasant.

So now that the word's out, he's scrambling to cover his sorry a$$. Thank goodness for the "free internet" and ROR after all - otherwise, how could people be forewarned about crooks like him?

My name is Scott Morris, one of the owners of The Real Estate Network. I have great news. The individuals who have posted this report against us have also sent a huge file documenting their case to the BBB, Attorney General, FBI, and FTC. So far I have received a letter from the BBB stating that they have closed this case for lack of credible evidance that The Real Estate Network did anything wrong. Better yet, just a few days ago 10/17/06 I received a letter from the Arizona Attorney General in response to our submission of evidance stating that "no further action will be taken". I expect the same from the other agencies that these people have contacted. As I have stated before, none of these people have a legal case so they have opted to try to destroy my reputation, that of my company and partner by smearing us unfairly on the FREE internet. I have instructed my lawyer to request from this web site that they remove this posting. It is unfair, untrue, and the only reason it was posted to begin with is that the individuals believe it would be easier to get money out of us than to work for it. I urge anyone who reads this stuff to also dig a little deeper to find out who is telling the truth and who is just a cry baby looking for a freebee. Being the victim of this sort of smear has actualy helped me and my partner as some of our new joint venture partners has been forced to reveal some unpleasant details about their past to us. The revelation that my partner and I were convicted of a felony ten years ago seems to wet their apetite and give them confidance that we can very easily be discredited. The fact is that our case is currently being reviewed for a pardon by the Governor because it has been determined and argued successfuly by our council that it was an unfair conviction. You see, at the time we had no money to defend ourselves, so we took the advice of our defender and pleaded a deal to stay out of jail. We now have the money to set the record straight, and we are doing that. All I have ever asked for is a fair hearing, and the only thing these people want is to destroy my company with untrue statements in the internet and now to as many government agencies that will listen to them. They will not succeed, and getting this lastest letter from the AG of Arizona is vindication and proof that they have no case and no reason to continue to attempt to damage TREN. Thank you, Scott A. Morris

Having read the rebuttal Mr. Morris has posted to my report about the Real Estate Network, and finding that rebuttal to contain misrepresentations and inaccuracies, and continuing to have promises made by Scott A. Morris go unfulfilled, I would not believe a word Morris has written or said at any time. I encourage all victims of this company to file complaints with; The Austin TX Better Business Bureau, http://www.centraltx.bbb.org, The Attorney General of TX, http://www.oag.state.tx.us/consumer/consumer.shtml the Attorney General of the state where TREN conducted business with you, and the Federal Trade Commission. http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/consumer/home.html If reports are true that Morris and his partner are felons convicted of fraud, the proper authorities need to be notified to help protect other consumers. Any additional information that can be posted regarding reported convictions of Mr. Morris and his partner, Matt Garcia, would be helpful. At the very least, it appears that there is a pattern of unfulfilled promises and withholding of refunds by this company which should be investigated by law enforcement. Thank you to all who are spending time and energy in order to hold this company and its founders accountable. Dennis Gresham, OR

I have just learned that Scott Morris has a new company. 800-400 Bank or www.800400bank.com. I wouldn't trust Scott or any company that he has for anything. If you plan on getting involved with him be very carful!
