The Red Rooster of the Treasure Coast, LLC - Hidden Treasures at the Antique Mall Sold me a "Model Home Miele Washer and Gas Dryer" the washer is full of mold, and leaves soap on the clothes, the Dryer is a recall item and completely broken (can cause gas leak and fire). Fort Pierce, Florida

I purchased last Friday (9.21.2012) for $1,491 (paid by cashier's check which they cashed in immediately) and $150 in cash for the delivery fee a Miele Washer and Gas Dryer, which I was informed was from a model home (as advertised by this company in Craigslist.com) and assured by Barbara at the store was in excellent condition. The washer has black mold and a broken door seal which makes it leak. The dryer is is so loud (like broken glass clinging) and doesnt' work. I unpluged it the first day of use, and called the owner of the store as I found out that this model and serial number part of a "recall by Miele", and it is illegal for them to have resold it to me.
On Monday 9-24-2012 I called the owner, who stated that he would pay for repairs to the machines. However, I requested that he pick them up and refund me the $1,491 in cash. On Tuesday I sent the recal information to the owner by fax demanding that they refund me and pick up the broken washer and dryer. On Wednesday, I sent him the information of the cost to repair the washer (which estimate to be in the $400-500 range) and that Miele will not repair the broken recalled gas dryer, and to contact me.
Today, Friday (1 week from purchase) I sent the owner notice that since he has not contacted me, that I will pursue legal action against him. I have pictures, videos and 6 letters sent to date.
