TheDigitalNerds.com Scam Artists (and completely rude to top it off) Beware of the Bait and Switch New York Internet
I placed an order for a Sony Cybershot DSC-N2 digital camera at thedigitalnerds.com Web site based on the price, which was much lower than comparative sites. Within minutes I received a phone call from someone from DigitalNerds.com verifying my order. However, he proceeded to try to tack on a $100 memory card which I did not want and he became extremely agitated when I refused to add this to my order. I told him he was not projecting a very good image for his company and he told me he didn't care about me or my order, and that they don't need my $250, they are a "wholesaler, not a retailer". I essentially laughed at him and simply repeated my objection to adding the memory card to my order at which point he said "okay, then how about we just cancel your order." And he proceeded to cancel my order without actually asking me if that is what I wanted and hung up on me. I'd sooner get gouged at Best Buy than ever give these guys my business.
