They are real, they have been in business for a very long time. You can reach them at: 1.800.511.3180 Thomson, Inc. P.O. Box 671988 Marietta, GA 30006-0034 A lawsuit is a waste of your money. You can sue them if you wish, even though the physical business is not in your state. They subject themselves to the jurisdiction of the court in your state if they do business there. It would be a waste of time and money as the filing fee for the action in your county is $150.00, then you must pay someone to have them served, appear in court, and prove your case. In most cases your award is limited to your actual damages, and if they walk in the door with your now repaired mp3 player you have no damages and eat the filing fee. Call them, or write a registered letter. It is likely your unit was mailed parcel post, which is notoriously slow and will arrive soon.

I have been waiting for them to return my MP player since 07/18/07. This is the date they mailed it. I did get a call from someone after I filed a report with the BBB. She wanted a recipt. I told her the Co. already has it and she told me she had to check it out and she would get back to me. its been two weeks. I did go to the court house to file a law suit but the paper says I have to sue the in the county where the office is, this is crazy, no wonder they can rip people off and get away with it.
