Since the economy has become so bad and overtime at my company was decreased, I had applied to various payday loan companys and was contacted by Three B Financials LLC dba 3B Pay Day Loans. Carrie was the person that I spoke with. She was pleasant and was eager to help. We went over my application and Carrie said she needed her manager to come on the phone to verify my application to complete the transaction. She placed me on hold and when she returned, Carrie said her manager was not able to speak with me at that moment and she would need to call back.

Carrie called back in 15 minutes and said I my application was approved and the funds would be deposited in my checking account by 12 midnight. She said I could have more if I wanted to and would email me the breakdown as to how much it would cost each month. After I hung up with Carrie, I became leary about the situation and called back. I dialed the "866" number, but got a recording. Dialed the complaint line and was connected to the same recording as the office number. This was not good.

I searched the MSN Yellow pages and looked up the address. All it gave was a map of the street location but nothing about the company. Went on Google and typed in "3B Pay Day Loans" and the website appeared. Everything looked official but, it was not.

On May 27, 2009, I came into the office and dialed 3B Pay Day Loans again and reached the recording. I called the Utah Department of Financial Institutions and left a voice message for Jerry and Eva Reese. Jerry called back and I asked him I was looking for information on the pay day loan company. I told Jerry I had applied to 3B Pay Day Loans and if he could give me information on the company. Jerry told me I should consult my financial institution where I live. I told him this pay day loan company is in VA and why would they have Utah's letter head on the loan agreement. Jerry said "good question" and said he sends information to them all the time. I had asked him who his contact person was at the pay day company because I has spoken with "Carrie". He was silent for a few seconds and gave me Brandon Paynes name and number.

I called Brandon Paynes and spoke with him. I told him I had applied to his company and his company did not honor their committment with me. I told him this was a bogus company and I would report them to the FBI and CIA. Brandon said he was sorry this happened to me and said he would look into the matter and have someone call me back. About 10 minutes later, I received a call from Michelle. She asked how she could help and I explained to her that Carrie did not honor the committment to depositing the funds into my account. Michelle then said there was no Carrie working there since April 09 and that "He" was gone. I said Carrie was a women and then Michelle said "Oh, I'm sorry, he is not here. I said Carrie was a women that I spoke with and I want to decline on the loan and destroy my paperwork. Michelle kept mentioning that Carrie was a women and she would let Carrie Green know not to process the paperwork. I told Michelle that you said Carrie had not worked there since April. I told Michelle that if there was any transaction processed on my account, I would send the information I have over to the FBI and CIA. Michelle became very quiet.
