Thumbtack I believe thumbtack website is a fraud. Professionals are trying to find work and they are taking money and we are getting no work from it Internet
I'm a personal trainer in Phoenix Az that has been looking for more in home clients. I joined a site called Thumbtack. The site has you pay a certain amount of money what they call credits to give you leads to clients. We get a lead through text and respond with a quote about us and what we offer and charge for personal training. The clients are then suppose to gather 5 quotes and pick which trainer they would like. I have been on thumbtack a few months now and have not had one call or text from a potential client. And I reseve almost 10-16 texts a day from thumbtack. I'm having a hard time believing that all these people are looking for trainers daily now and it seems very shady I have not gotten one response. They also have where if you don't want a client that they text you about you can hit pass and it goes to other trainers. I have hit pass a few times because of where they were located and I've noticed the more I pass up the more text messages I get that day from others wanting a trainer. I think that seems suspicious. I believe it's because thumbtack is not getting paid for these passes so they are shooting more to me. The whole thing is just not right I believe Thumbtack needs to be stopped!!
