Thumbtack I feel I was Scam San Francisco California

 I am a Professional..I have been using Thumbtack since Jan.2016. I have been paying for Leads..First Month I received 2 Phone Calls & One Text..I was Hired..but nothing panned out.. The Email engaged in Hiring Me..They change the Venue Twice..The Check was in the Mail..Never Received.. The Night before the Venue..They wanted to Pay Me & I was to pay the other Services..I call Police..They would make arrangement to Meet & Pay Me..They never call Me Back.. Some content of the Phone Call was Disturbing & i wish to not discuss it here.. I notice Tonight ,That Same Venue is listed Again..
