A friend and I wanted to see the Screamfest '07 tour with T.I, Ciara, Lloyd, T-Pain and Yung Joc. We researched many sites until we came across Ticketsmyway.com. My friend thought that the site looked legit and the prices were very inexpensive; so we bought the tickets. When we purchased the tickets we were told that a confirmation letter from FedEx would be sent via email within 48 hours. The very day after we purchased the tickets our credit card was charged for the ticket amount: $299.00. However it has been about two weeks and the confirmation letter never came.
I then started to get suspicious and I stumbled across this site. My friend and I called the toll free number listed on the site, yet no one answered. We then called the local number and finally got through to a female representative. She asked for our name and phone number, asked what the problem was, and then told us she would have "Michael" look into it and call us back. Fearing the worst we quickly called FedEx and asked to track our package. FedEx told us they had no records of our account and no records of anything needing to be shipped to our adress. So I tried calling the local number back, but surprise surpise they didn't answer. We are going to get ahold of the creditcard company tomorrow and see if we are lucky enough to get our money back. I hope not many more people fall for this scam.
