So about 9 months ago, I purchased a 2012 Toyota Venza from Rock Honda. I was told to only put $1,000 down on the vehicle. I did so in a timely manner. Now when it came to financing, Tidewater offered me financing and I accepted. Now I agreed to the terms of the loan, meaning, the APR, the payment amount and the date for each payment due per month. Long story short, I have made my payment and on time. Tidewater, has reported every payment I've made late to the credit beaureus. I have been in multiple conversations with Tidewater via email, texts messages, written letters etc. I have been lied to by customer service stating that they didn't have a copy of the loan document from the dealer, I have went as far as sending them multiple copies of the loan document, showing the true due date of my payments.
Tidewater has refused to correct the error. I also notified the credit beaureaus of the lies, errors, from tidewater. I have also filed disputes with the credit beaureaus and submitted documentations (i.e, bank statement, cashed checks, money grams payments, money orders stubs etc. and still Tidewater continue to lie and the credit bureaus will not do their job. Tidewater is taking my money and continue to report my payment late and try to charge me almost 500% in interest on what they claim are late payments. I they are theives, liars, con artist, unprofessional, cheats piece of s**t as a finance company. Everyone, please beware of this company, the only way they can be stopped is through a class action lawsuit. Who is on board with me. I'm so ready to sue the s***out of them. They have ruin my credit for no good reason.

First off, please get off the "Oh the magical Class Action Lawsuit will make it all right with the world". If you have an valid claim then YOU need to file a lawsuit. IF after you file the original lawsuit you can show a judge that this is something that affects more people("class") you can then get "Class" status and continue with the Class Action Lawsuit. But the reality is that the only people that make any money on this is the lawyers, the class members would be lucky if they get enough compensation for a Fast Food Meal.
Now, onto your situation. They are a "sub-prime" lender meaning that you have not proven you can handle credit. This tells us that either this is your first loan, or you have had a "negative" history in the past. So I have a feeling there is more here than you are saying.
As this line is a bit concerning..
I was told to only put $1,000 down on the vehicle. I did so in a timely manner
Generally a "down payment" is something you must provide to get the car, and is between you and the dealer. The Finance company never sees this money. The "timely manner" should have been BEFORE you took possession of the car. If there was any other sort of "arrangement" where you could defer your down payment. Not only is that one of the biggest "mistakes" you can make in buying a car, it probably has something to do with you confusing your "down payment" payment with your regular "payment".
You claim to have all of this paperwork. So if you have actual documentation that shows THEY have received every payment on or before the due dates shown in your contract then you may have a case. But again if you thought that the down payment is the same thing as the regular payment...you are probably SOL. As there is no "Well I didn't Understand" excuse or "They didn't tell me". YOU are the one responsible for fully understanding what you are signing. If you don't understand it..you don't sign.

It's interesting how you don't mention the date frame here. It's also interesting how you don't tell us what the contractual due date is nor do you say how you get the payment to them. What you do say is you claim to be the perfect customer and out of the clear blue sky they have picked on you to claim each and every payment is late when it isn't. Then at the end of your claims, you start spouting off about some type of class action lawsuit just like the serial deadbeats do! Bottom line is there's probably much more to this "story" than you are willing to write about however, you are very willing to bash and defame them. By the way, I don't work for them!
