I have had problems with every rebate company out there. If consumers want the best price possible then rebates must go. Do not buy from any company which offers a rebate and let them know that you will not. If we as buyers stop supporting these ripoff rebate offers companies will have to compete by offering the best possible price. After all these companies are paying the rebate companies to process these rebates..that is additional money that could be saved in order to sell the product at a lower cost. Companies that offer rebates may or may not be reputable, but the practice is invites fraud. I purchase for a large corporation and deal with most electronic manufacturers, but I refuse to purchase any product that a rebate is offered on instead I call the manufacturer and ask them to give me the rebate amount off at purchase time...if they refuse we take them off of our list of vendors. We purchase over 3 million dollars a year on electronics, but not from companies who choose rebates over initial savings. Shop smart and be happy.
