In 2006 and in 2009 I had modems replaced by the time warner once because it was not working and the second one was an upgrade. When I discontinued my service in 2015, almost ten years later they asked for the equiopment to be returned. This is a scam. They took the old equipment when they replaced mine. If they had not taken it why did they wait ten years to tell me????? I think a class action lawsuit should be filed against Time Warner for ripping off their customers for this reason. They also took three days of 6 hours of phone calls to just get someone to to disconnect my service. They transferred me at least 20 times, sent met to the wrong departments, put me on hold once for over an hour, and hung up on me twice. I was just trying to disconnect my service. I think their customer service is a diservice. If you can AVOID Time Warner Cable at all save your self a bunch of $$ and time and choose the alternative cable provider. Luckily I have Googele Fiber now. They are amazingly helpful and charge you accurately.
