On September 1, 2006 my husband and I agreed to sell our timeshare through Timeshares Quick Sale International. The fee we were charged was $699 and was supposed to cover the cost of advertising, legal fees, and fees to file documents when we sold the property. We paid the full amount at the time of the sale and were told that our property was worth $9000 and should be sold within 6 months. We were also told that if for some reason it did not sale in 6 months that the company would keep it listed until it did sell. My husband and I waited, and after 4 months decided to lower the asking price to get it to sell faster. The company said that this would help.

Since then we have lowered the price several times. The most recent time was in September of 2007. We lowered the asking price to $5000. Still there were no indications of any interest.

Two weeks ago I tried to visit the website, but could not get to it. Today I tried to visit the website again, and still could not get to it. I also tried to call the phone number I had for them, but it has been disconnected.

I feel like a fool now because my husband and I spent nearly $700 for nothing - literally. They did not keep to the agreement we had. My property still has not sold. Now if we still want to sell it, we will have to do everything ourselves and pay legal fees.

We are usually very careful about which businesses we work with, but apparently this one was sly.

Just beware of similar companies who may try to do the same thing to you.
