Timothy Castro ,Teca Roofing LLC threatening and harassing customers Phoenix, Arizona
Teca Roofing, L.L.C. AKA Timothy Castro is harrassing us via mail and threatening to damage our credit. Tim Castro, CEO of Teca Roofing has authorized the mailing of repeated demand letters alleging we owe Teca up to $15000.
However, when we request a copy of "legal evidence of this debt" be mailed to us for $6 (via priority mail with delivery tracking), he declines to produce a copy of his "legal evidence of the debt" because he has none.
He states Teca Roofing has a 30 year history of roofing in Phoenix, however, only a small portion of this 30 year history was under TIm Castro's leadership and he obviously isn't Dad or Gramps or Uncle, which ever relatives owned and operated the company in previous years.
We did multiple jobs through an established Teca office and were a good, many times over repeat customer. Apparently this is an internal Teca issue, but CEO Tim Castro takes no pause in selecting customers to harass for monies not owed without his so much as even possessing "legal evidence of the debt" he demands his customers pay him.
There is a growing back log of complaints posted online, at the Registrar of Contractors office as well as at the BBB.
If Teca treats a many, many times over repeat customer this way, then anyone is fair game.
After our experience, we can safely say with 100% certainty they are just not worth doing business with and that is is advisable to steer clear of this company now and in the future.
