Timothy Reynolds MD - Rush Hospital - Meridian MS I'm 60 years old. I have met some ignorant and egligent Drs. in my Time but this one tops the list Meridian Mississippi
DR.Timothy Reynolds is on the cardiology staff at Rush Hospital in Merisian,Ms.
I was admitted to Rush with Chest pain on a friday night.The admitting Dr.ordered me sedated and kept very still until I saw a cardiologist.On TUESDAY following my admission Dr.reynolds appeared.He ordered several tests and came back in Wednesday morning.
My primary who admitted me had marked on my chart that I could be discharged as far as he was concerned anyime after cardiology.I had been in 5 days waiting for this "DR." On Thursday morning he came in and said."I'm going out of town for the weekend,"On monday morning at 7 a:m I want to do a heart cathe.H said "stay in the hospital until I return.After the cathe you can be released."
On Sunday at 5 p.m after like 10 days now they put me NPO.Nothing by mouth until after the surgery.Monday morning at 7 nothing happened.Later I got a call saying he was "caught in traffic" and on his way in.At noon I called his office and asked what was going on.His nurse told me "you're up next."
Dr.Reynolds never did the surgery,never cancelled the surgery...NOTHING.He let the floor nurses believe ALL DAY that surgery was coming for me any minute.sice they had no information.I was deprived all of my medication,food and fluids for over 24 hours.After 6 o'clock that evening this "DR" walked into my room...looks at me and says "I decided not to do the heart cathe," I looked at him like he was insane and I said "OK what now?".I swear to god he looked at me and said."you can go home." He turned around.walked out of the room and I never saw or spoke with him again.
Apparently the thing about keping me in the hospital a whole week for HIM was to bleed my insurance.Furthermore,I ws billed for some cardiologist if not him,to "check in" on me..every day he was gone.His ignorance and arrogance are the worst I've seen in a supposed DR.I have never gotten over the way he treated me.
To say that my self esteem took a hard hit I mean he made me feel like I was the butt of some joke and that he could care less what I thought.That I was nothing and did not even have the right to inquire as to what happened.When I called his office a week later and talked to the woman who told me I was up next? She went into a screaming fit about she didn't talk to me,she didn't know what I was talking about,she didn't know who I was...and slammed down the phone.

I have worked in the cardiology section at Rush Hospital for years. I think June is complaining about the wrong physician.
Doctor Reynolds saw all his patients everyday, frequently staying at the hospital until midnight in order to do so. Dr. Reynolds is a compassionate and very soft spoken Christian man. I never witnessed or heard about this type of behavior from Dr. Reynolds.
There is a cardiologist on staff that this type of behavior occurs frequently, but it is not Dr. Reynolds.
Dr. Reynolds relocated his practice out of MS in approximately 2003 or 2004. If this incident occurred in 2008, then it could not have been Dr. Reynolds.
