Tiny Computers ripoff Warranty on their PCs and long down times if it breaks down Tacoma, Washington
I bought a PC from Tiny in Feb. of 2001. I chose the get the extended 3 year warranty for $99. It was a good deal and the computer seemed fine and the tech support was good. Then in Sept. 2001 the hard drive went bad. Went I bought the PC they said that a technician would be at my home within one week. well it took 3 weeks to get the hard drive and 2 mores week before I was finally contacted for an on-site visit.
The technician "which lived over 150 miles away" called me and said that the procedure was simple and he could walk me through it on the phone. He did so and the pc worked fine again after over 5 weeks and numberous phone calls and waiting on the line for hours.
I asked Tiny if I could get my $99 back because I was not satisfied with thei Warranty procedures. They said absolutly NOT!. Then in Feb. 2002 the PC started shutting down. I have never gotten a return email and can't get through to them in anyway.
So I hired a local Technician that charged me $127.00 to get the PC repaired. I certainly don't recommend Tiny to anyone.
