TLC Pool & Spa installed a pool liner at our home in May of 2006 for $2868.54. After installation there were more than 25 wrinkles, some exceeding 12 inches, in our new liner. Additionally there were indentations on the bottom that were not patched properly creating divots in the bottom of our pool. TLC Pool & Spa owner, Bill shields, admitted in writing - after re-measuring the pool there were discrepanciences in the measurements for the new liner. He further admitted in writing, he is willing to accept responsibiity for the wrinkles in the deep end of our pool. He futher states TLC & Spa has no warranty against wrinkles even though there were more than 25 wrinkles in our pool.

Since this liner will be with us for more than 10 years we wanted the liner measured properly and replaced. TLC offered to replace our liner only under the following circumstances: We purhased a salt chloronator for $1250.00 plus salt valued at $150.00 plus $500.00 to replace the liner. If we did not like this option TLC Pool & Spa would replace the liner for $1000.00 and repair the defects in the pool.

Further, even after admiting in writing about the measurement errors, TLC & Spa tried to cast blame on us for the job they were paid to do in the first place. We provided ample opportunity for TLC & Spa to correct the installation errors. We wanted the liner replaced without cost to us. We ended up replacing the liner at an additional expense of $3240.41 with Lesli Pool and Spa. There were zero, wrinkles in the replacement liner.

We filed suit against TLC & Spa in Magistrates court. Judgement was found in our favor and we were awarded monetary judgement. The courts judgement was paid in full by TLC Pool & Spa.

Bill, the "owner", will say and do anything to cast blame on you for his lack of job supervision. Bill says he told our 16 year old son to cut the water off when the pool reaches a certain point - since this did not happen all of the 25 wrinkles and diviots were created. What he won't tell you is he came back to our home 24 hours later - the pool was still not filled. He did not call any adult in our home or have any further conversation with our 16 year old son to tell any of us to check the level of the pool. He finally decides to show up more than 48 hours after he has the initial converstation with our 16 year old son to find the pool was full. The new liner we paid for to replace this new liner installed by this worthless company had ZERO wrikles in the liner before the first drop of water was placed in our pool. Be very carefull with this company and make sure you have an attorney. You will need one.
