Complaint Review: Tony Roehr - Master Contractor And Carpenter - Austin Texas

Since my first complaint regarding Tony Roehr I received at least 4 calls from other individuals that have had negative dealings with Tony (Anthony) Roehr throughout the years. August 19, 2015 someone contacted me and stated they are making a web page or site for customers affected my Mr Roehr.  I have that individuals name and contact number. When I get more details I will be more than happy to provide that information to others who have had negative dealings with Mr. Roehr. I was very surprised after all these years that someone called out of the blue. Mr Roehr has alots of fans I guess.

To response to Dana's rebuttal to my complaint. She has her information wrong. I did provide the documentation Tony requested. I did what he asked and the city residential planner's supervisor told me it was not necessary. The old permits had expired. He was provided a copy of my lot plan from the title company paperwork that I had a copy of. The city planner told me to tell him to go to Kinkos and have a copy made to scale for him to draw up the plans. He expected me to pay another 75.00 dollars to provide him with a copy of the lot plan from the title company. This was his responsibility not mine. As a so called contractor he would have known this. He did this to prolong the FACT he never intended to complete the job that I paid him over 10, 000.00 to do. The fact you say he didn't want to have anymore expenses is stupid. He had already been given over 10,000.00 of a 13,000.00 job. If Tony is so trustworthy why did he tell me to contact his lawyer in Houston and yes I have that message saved. That lawyer told me he never heard of him. Tony still has not had a lawyer contact the one I hired. One of 2 letters he sent my lawyer said if he didn't hear from my lawyer in 10 days he would do so. Another lie DANA? I hired one after he refused to resolve this matter. I asked Tony to provide me receipts and I would pay him for the work done but expected a refund of the money I had paid him already minus the work done. The only work done was the demo of the existing deck (WITHOUT A PERMIT) and the forms placed for the contrete slab to be poured. He has been served letters from my lawyer and is avoiding meeting with the processor of the lawyer who has been in contact with him over the phone. My lawyer has spoken to him on one occassion that I am aware of. If Tony is so trustworthly why is everything in your name DANA! Why is it tht Tony is laying low and can't be found DANA? Why has he filed bankruptcy so many times DANA? Why has he used different SS#'s in the past DANA? This information was told to me by my lawyer. Why did a lady and I use that word loosely come to my house and say she was a city employee and want to go in my backyard). No name tag, no city vehicle or business card. I played along with it. I suspect it might have been YOU! You DANA are no more trustworthy than Tony. I suggest you continue to relocate/move as you always do to avoid being found preferrable out of the Austin area, because I for one plan to pursue legal action to the fullest extent of the law. That is what I told Tony the last time I left a message for him. I NEVER THREATENED you or the family. I also have not been calling Tony as he mentioned in his letter. I have no desire to see him or hear his voice. Tony had no regard to my family and my nieces bedroom that he tore up, leaving exposed elecrical wires, open holes etc. If Tony was so honest he would agree to meet with my lawyer and resolve this matter. If he was so honest what does he have to hide Dana? He was not registered with the city or the state as a contractor. He voliated multiple rules and codes from the beginning as you have read in the papers he has received from my lawyer. (if he even shared them with you). That is unless he is conning you as well. I seriously doubt that as you and the kids relocate/move so often. You are just as dishonest as Tony is. I have and still am more than willing to resolve this matter, the ball is in your court. Feel free to contact me Dana, you have my number. BTW, Are you still unpacking from the last move?

Stacy(Johnnie) didn't report everything accurately. He didn't get all of the paperwork that was needed. The city had red flagged his address becasue of the two permits that he had pulled and not finalized them. He also wouldn't give Tony a certified plot plan (Stacy is the only one that can obtain this). Tony had the soil testing stopped because he was fired from the job and wasn't going to incur any more expense. He then fired Tony, told him not to call him or come to his house. He continued to call Tony though, even though he had already hired an attorney and should let the attorney handle it. He has also lied to his attorney and left out some important details. Tony tried several times to contact the attorney but Stacy's attorney wouldn't return his calls. Stacy also forgot to mention that he called and left a voice mail message that threatened Tony's family. I do have a copy of this message. It's a real shame that people can write whatever they want about someone, leave out things to make themselves look better, and then call and threaten someone's family.
