Top Ten Imports Total Scam.... Company does not disclose information to consumer Indianapolis Indiana
I ordered an ih1000 iheater on January 2, 2009 from Top Ten Imports. The product arrived on January 7, 2009. It was purchased to heat a 228 sq ft room. The information says it will heat up to 1000 sq ft. After 6 hours the temperature actually dropped to 49 degrees.
The call to the company was a total waste of time. The girl that answered the phone made several statements that totally contradicted the advertising. She then proceeded to tell me about the NO REFUND policy. I told her this was not stated in any of the literature on line or information that was received with the heater. She would give no return information unless I wanted a replacement and I told her I would return it to the physical address listed for the company. She told me they will return it to me. I stated to her that this company and their dealings are totally unacceptable and shortly after this we were "disconnected."
The transaction was processed the day of purchase and I am now disputing it through my credit card company. I am not hopeful of a good outcome. Stay away from this company.
