Town And Country - Ameriquest ripoff sept 2003 started refinancing with town country, told loan fees would be low, I received my truth and lending paper and it look good. I was being rush Orange California
Town and country and ameriquest are big rip-offs. I was contacted in Sept of 2003 by Town and Country for refinancing and cash out. All paper before closing gave that impression. After closing and I received my check, and final loan papers, I could not believe they charged me 13,000 in closing cost. The amount first looks like it was suppose to be credit to us, but as i look to amount refiniance I knew this was a big rip-off. The loan officer lied to me about all of my cost.
Then Ameriquest gets the loan and a month before it is due starts calling all over everyday trying to reach us. We were on vacation and they called our work everyday. It seemed like we were not making payments. I just refinannce and I told them I wanted out of Ameriquest, Yes my loan was sold to them and before the loan closed. I just noticed that and I was charged a pentalty for closing out loan early and charge interest by Argent refiniance on the transfer of the loan.
