I got my Motorola Tracfone at WAL-MART back before I knew better than to shop with them! The second day I had it, I watched in horror as I tried to dial a number and the keys I touched began to fall into the telephone one at a time. they came loose and crumbled and eventually, the entire phone looked rather strange without the keys! I took what was left of it back to Wal-Mart and they gave me --TA DA! ANOTHER MOTOROLA TRACFONE! This one ate minutes! I would lock the keys but the minutes would disappear as I watched. SO I GOT MAD AND SAID THE HELL WITH IT AND GOT A NOKIA PHONE WITH MY TRACFONE INSTEAD! it is just as ugly as the MOTOROLA was and NEITHER had any of the things I wanted on a cell phone BUT I can't afford a Cellular Calling Plan! Friends I have spoke with said that their MOTOROLA TRACFONES have ALSO eaten minutes and shed the keys like fish scales. MOTOROLA HAD BETTER GET WITH THEPROGRAM OR NOBODY WILL BUY THEIR S***! In fact, I think the only way they could move these sorry midels was TO DUMP THEM ON TRACFONE! I wish I knew where to get a GOOD Phone to accompany my TRACFONE program!

I read your situation on the tracfone, I worked for that Company(family dollar) for two years, I was a manager, Don't let the Family Dollar fool you by saying anything about Tracfone. First of all, we had problems with tracfone cards, phones, etc.. You can First call to speak with the manager, you need to tell exact date,time etc. if that person cannot help, ask for the District Manager name and number,(they can give the number out,the DM'S have cards to give out for employment, they can give out for questions, if they refuse tell them you will contact Corp. Office for his Regional, which I am sure I know who she is.) Also, if you call the 1-800 number for tracfone, give it up, they dont know what to do, and all they do really is get you and family dollar all confused, if you are not satified, they (family dollar) has to give you a full refund for the phone (s) and the minutes you had to get, whether it is tracfone fault or family dollar, (believe me I know every policy on them) if they give you a hard time Please contact your BBB, on not only tracfone but as well as Family Dollar, Believe me I have had a stream of calls from BBB(Better Busniess Bureau) about the tracfone deals and unfair and false advertising for family dollar, either way, i have had tracfone before, your best bet,in my opinon, is return the phone and minutes for a full refund , tell BBB, how and what happened, they WILL contact family Dollar Corp., and they will contact you, have a good one,
