I bought this cell phone for my wife from Walmart for $79.95 plus tax. It was a camera phone which promised many features. The voice mail would not setup. Same problem we had with her previous phone. I kept telling them after many hours on phone that I wanted to cancel and return it to walmart for a refund before I could'nt. Like a fool I listened to them in hope they could fix it. Time expired. Now they offered to do a phone replacement. We accepted.
They sent us a refurshbised phone valued at $29.95 new. Today I was on phone over an an hour & 1/2 trying to resolve issue as to why they did'nt send us the actual phone we sent back them too. Trying to convince me to activate this phone and they would make up for the value in minutes added extra to the phone. We tried. Voicemail would not setup and could not call out. But could call in. None of the other features work. Were on phone 3 now with problems. About $125 in the hole now.
Thier phones appear to be reprogramed phones bought from other companies who just needed a place to dump them as the newer more featured phones hit the market. Whatever the reason I'd not buy a tracfone now till they resolve thier programming issues. Its like throwing money into the wind.
