I was on disabilty for 6 months and i have been putting my resume on many websites: hotjobs, career builder, etc. looking for a job. I was contacted by this woman, Kimberly, who found my resume on one of these sites and she said she was a national recruiter for this company. I was very excited and looking forward to a good paying job again. In the email i received, it stated that this was a JOB. It is illegal to not mention that this is an opportunity, when in fact it truely is not a garenteed paychack.... I thank god I had enough sense to check it out. These uneducated people should learn the laws before they show these "opportunities" as actual paying jobs.
I hope this helps someone and please, there are way too many scams out there to just dive into something. A good way to learn if it is an actual job or not, is to research a mission statement on their website. Also, this might sound a little weird but, most companies now-a-days ask for a drugtest or documentation of some sort. Money up front is definately a huge red flag.
