I was told of this position by a person who wishes to remain anonymous. I applied via their online application on their website: http://www.tranzcenter.com/#!employment where you remit your home address, telephone number and email address to these people. Here, they have already collected information about you needed to start processing personal information.
 
 You self schedule to an interview only to find out that it is an overview where a man who identifies himself as John Collins tells you about the position.  You dial into an anytime meeting webinar. He (the man on the other end of the telephone) repeats I am not going to waste my time hiring quitters  and I have rejected many people that I feel wasnt ready I recorded the telephone interview when I understood that it was an overview as opposed to interview. 
 
We are scheduled to anytime meeting software where once logged in, again giving our information are directed to TranZcenters website where a lot of talk with no substance is carried on for one hour. John repeated throughout the entire overview I wont hire quitters also highlighting his military experiences.
 
 Their website says PAID and FREE training, see advertisement: http://www.tranzcenter.com/#! Then they require that you remit 199.00 to see if a phone is available before that you are required to fax your independent contract to 888-728-3795. This company provides NO contact information for questions and you are given a telephone number 678-640-6610 to contact after you remit your 199.00 John cautions you to read his contract CAREFULLY, and rightly so. It holds him and his friends faultless and holds YOU the new fool liable for everything.  As of this date, August 22, 2012 there is NO scheduled new training date published on his site. The Bottom Line:

 

1st Truth:  90% of Freight Brokering Companies wants you to have a minimum of 2 years of freight experience and have a current book of business/relationships with multiple shippers.

 

2nd Truth: You can registered with the Federal Government, pay $350 - $500 to process your pay work, then you must get bonded for $10,000 and September 2013 you must get bonded for $75,000. This is not the best decision, if you do not have experience.

 

TranZcenter Truth:As a Freight or Rate Agent in Trainingthey pay 100% for Training, Tools and Resources. You are required to take a TQT (Training Qualification Test) and pass with 70%. You are responsible for paying the Fully Refundable TQT Test Fee of $199. The fee is fully refundable after you process one (1) client (See Employment Training Agreement for Detail).

 

The TQT Test is required; we must ensure that you understand the basic functions of your job. We are registered with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) we have to ensure we are meeting and exceeding all the Federal Government Requirements.

TranZcenter is Registered with the Federal Government Freight Authority.  TranZcenter, LLC Federal Government Freight Authority # 706398.

FMCSA operating authority is also referred to as an "MC," "FF," or "MX" number, depending on the type of authority that is granted. Unlike the USDOT Number application process, a company may need to obtain multiple operating authorities to support its planned business operations. Operating Authority dictates the type of operation a company may run and the cargo it may carry.

Please remember you have individuals in this country who do not like the President of the USA,
Just Because! And that is wrong on so many levels. The President of TranZcenter, LLC is not exempted, at the end of the day these complaints have no substance. We are a Transportation Management Training Company, we do not have one complaint from an employee or customer, what you have posted here is a complaint from someone with an opinion, but no facts and their goal is to ruin someone reputation.

The $199 Corporate Line fee is refundable once you start Moving Freight.  I have been with TranZcenter for 2 weeks.  I don't think it's a scam.  I have received training on the days and time that it has been scheduled.  All training facilitators have giving me their direct number for assistance.  The President of the Company gave me his direct cell phone number. When I called, he returned my call within 2 minutes.  It is a new industry for me, so I'm like a newborn baby learning to talk, however I do see the income potential in the industry and I will learn as much about the industry to create a better life for myself.  I am also a Veteran.  It's not for everyone.  Maybe a good 9 to 5 gig, or an hourly wage job is what you need.  Good luck to you.

Right! First, this is a complete scam!  If the company is making as much money as claimed, then there is no need to charge "employees" for the 800 number.  It's easy, and FREE to setup call forwarding to anyone's home phone with a separate ring and caller ID to represent the "company."

Second, all of these people, or should I say--one person submitting these rebuttals is just that--ONE PERSON.  They are not multiple legit employees working for TranZcenter.  Look at the rebuttals carefully--each one has the SAME bad grammar.  One look reveals the true nature of the company, or person.

Do your research, people!  Google is free to use--do a good search and read all you can about this "company." I challenge you to find a single "legit" employee, or even any "real" positive reviews. Also, go to the BBB website--they're not even incorporated!

The part that really bothers me, is the attempt to target veterans.  I am a veteran of over 22 years, and I NEVER sent these scammers my resume.  Someone sifts through your "viewable" resume on whatever job search engines you've got them on.

As always--if it sounds too good to be true, then it is!

 I am an employee of Tranzcenter, and I have been with them for one year.  This company is run by the President Mr. Milton Collier.  He is giving people an opportunity, IF they want to take it to be a freight agent.  this is a lucrative business and it is not a scam. If the person writing this garbage had taken time to research the company, finding out who is backing this company, and then reporting, I would not be writing this article.  It seems to me that this is a case of jealousy, if not that, certainly ignorance.  First of all, if you knew anything about freight brokering you would know that it is a busy business, and if Mr. Collier did say he was in the military; which he has done before; then I feel it is perfectly all right.  What do you care?  No one is telling you what to say.  Aren't you on here lying?  You can't get something for nothing,  Mr. Collier is not scamming anyone out of two hundred dollars.  You want something for nothing.  What? Do you think he should pay for the phone line and give you the material, conduct the meetings which give you valuable information about load boards and other sites that YOU would not normally have access to?  Stay off of the website!  Ohhh, I get it! He didn't choose you.  That's what it is!!

Corporate Telephone Services Activation Fee. Agent will be responsible for paying the services activation fee of $199.00. This fee is fully refundable ONLY after agent book and completely process one client that ship three loads.

How does the Corporate Telephone Home System Works:

Just like working at the Corporate Office, when customers call you, the telephone rings to your desk.
Because you are working from home - our Corporate Telephone System are programmed to call your Home or Cell Phone.

One Time Refundable Yearly Operation and Programming Fee: 

1. Freight Agent will Pay: $199 Fully Refundable Setup Fee

 2. TranZcenter will Pay: $200 on The Telephone Setup Fee and pay 100% for Training, Tools, Resources and Operation Cost for one (1) year (Approximately $15,000)

Note: At the End of The Our OJT Program is not for Everyone!! I have been with the company for two (2) years and we generated over one (1) Million in Revenue by moving freight!
