I booked a flight with Travelocity for travel on Continental Airlines. I was charged $14.99 for their service fee. Later, I changed my flight and was billed $30 service fee, plus $56.00 more than Continental would have charged me for changing the flight.

A call to Travelocity's no customer service was an India based call to their billing department. The first person heard my complaint and transferred me to someone else, and that person heard my complaint and then transferred me to Continental Airlines where the agent asked me why I would call them for a problem with Travelocity!

The Continental agent told me Travelocity often sends them calls rather than deal with the problem.

A third call to Travelocity was no better. The person basically said, that's the price you have to pay.

Needless to say, Travelocity has gotten the last of my business as I don't enjoy being ripped off and treated poorly when trying to resolve an issue. How sorry I am that I assumed I should change my flight through them since I had originally booked the flight through them. In future, I will only make changes with the booked airline.

Travelo*hitty would be a better name for them.
