Ordered my costume just over two weeks ago received only a portion of my order.  Contacted Trendy Halloween Immediately because they didn't send me the costume only sent me the accessory for my son's costume. My costume was missing.  When I called lady she said the system showed that my order was complete and said she didn't know why the costume wasn't sent. I said that on the slip it had a 0 with aline through it.  She said she would research and call me back. I waited for 2 hours for a return phone call because I needed to re-order my costume fast if they didn't have it because I have a Halloween party to go to on October 25, 2013.  I called back and spoke to a gentleman who put me on hold and said they were out of the costumer I ordered. He offered me a refund but I wouldnt even get the credit for 48-72 hours.  He said he could re-order something else for me, but after being sold a costume that wasn't even available I decided to take my business elsewhere. Had I know that they didnt have my costume I would have cancelled the entire order and got my son's accessory somewhere else instead of waiting for something that never came.

The shipping is slow so just because you order a costume it doesn't mean it's in stock. If you do order you may want to contact them to ensure it's in stock!

BEWARE!  When I found out I didn't receive my costume I was assured that I would receive a refund. I checked my statement a few weeks go NO REFUND!   So I called back and the young lady apologized to me and said she would process my refund it would be processed in a few days. I just checked my statement again still NO REFUND.

I called again yesterday and asked the young lady what I needed to do to get my money back for a product I never received. She apologized profusely which I appreciate it, but that's all I seem to get. I'm not getting my money back and it's been a month.  

Trendy Halloween recently rebutted my complaint apologizing and asking me to give them a call so they can make it right, but everything is not alright.

I don't recommend Trendy Halloween and I will not be returning as a customer.  I don't write many of these types of posts, but I think that consumers should be aware of my experience so they can make an informed decision when purchasing from this company. I only wish I had known...

I’m sorry you are disappointed with your shopping experience at Trendyhalloween.com. We refund customers with items that are missing right away and note it on their invoice. You should have received a note via email and order status. We were receiving shipments daily and also experienced some last unexpected changes with manufacturers. 

If your refund wasn’t posted right away I apologize and can better help if you can give us a call. What probably happened though was your costume sold at an accelerated rate (because it was peak season) and our inventory didn’t flag the item out of stock until later at night. We will be evaluating your case in order to come up with better solutions so that your experience doesn’t happen again.  Rest assured all of our costumes are in stock.  Please give us a call so we can better help you understand what happened. We hope to make it up to you for the next Halloween seaon. Thank you.
