Beware. The "customer” is not told that they have a no return policy, but Tresor Rare tells the credit card dispute team of their no return policy -- loud and clear, and upfront. That’s how they get away with their rip-off. Tresor Rare uses this as a weapon against those people who are aggressively accosted on the street, lured into the store, having no intention of buying skin products, subjected to unwanted sales tactics, and who after leaving that insanity, try to return the overpriced products.

People walking down the street are caught in their web. ESCAPE. Don’t fall into their trap. I am 71 years old and alone walking down King Street in Charleston to a park and was lured in by a very pleasant young woman, Vanessa. I avoid cosmetic departments and perfume stores, because of allergies to cologne and perfumes. But there I was with goop on one half of my face. Somehow I ended up with $21,000 of product and promise of facials. This is something I never do. How did it happen?

Eli ran one card which came up with fraud alert, so he called my bank and told me to speak to the banker. He said, Now write a $7,000 check. I told him that I didn't have the money to cover the check, but he still said write it. Then he asked if I had any other accounts. I had one with $1300, and he demanded $1200 in cash. Brutal. I called to cancel.

Eli said he would contact his attorney, so I called my credit card company. The next day I drove to the store to return the products, which were all unopened and still in the packaging. Eli rushed in and demanded that I look at the receipt -- at the very bottom where you don't notice, no returns. He said that he told me. That was a lie. He never told me there was a no return policy.

He pulled out the check and smirked, It's a bad check. He pointed to his iphone, ONE YEAR IN JAIL. I was so sick by the time I left I had to have help carrying the products back to my old car. I see from other reviews that they don't tell the customers that there is no refund/no return policy. They just tell the Credit Card dispute department about their no refund policy, and you are the victim. They know how to work the system.

Police Escort necessary to Return Product

I emailed my report to around 15 Tresor Rare offices and associates including: [email protected] (CEO, Ofer Jacob Carmel) [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] and faxed my 4 page report to Tresor Rare in Miami, 786-398-4263. All faxes end up in "Corporate," a shed in Las Vegas. I called the Charleston store at 843-203-4054, and told Leo that I would be passing out the same report to the neighbors. He thought the advertisement would be good for business! I received a call from Josie in Las Vegas who agreed to ask the Charleston, SC store for a copy of the shipping invoice for the $8,020 item.

I have heard nothing back, of course, since there is no shipping, On June 7, I distributed my Ripoff Report to the neighboring stores on King Street. The neighbor merchants dislike their aggressiveness and wanted to read the research. Tom Van Orr called the next day and said FOUR corporations Tresor Rare, Resveralife, Adore?, etc. demand that I pick up the flyers that I distributed, or they would sue me. I said the merchants already read the flyer. It is my constitutional right to distribute it. Then he tried the "discrimination card," because I called the Israelis sales people, Israelis. "Discrimination is a very serious thing, here." He is dealing from the bottom of the deck.

After an hour he and I agreed that I would return the products and receive a full refund. I would write a commendation for Tom and Josie, (not for the Tresor Rare store). Tom delayed and kept changing our agreement. He lied to Josie that he and I discussed my BBB complaint and my reviews over the last 4 months. On June 14, I called the city dispatch for a police escort to return the products. Eli took the products back as the police officer stood in the store. After the officer left, Eli followed us and harassed my friend and me. They have not refunded my money.

In Tresor Rare's June 4, 2018, court hearing, Eli /Tresor Rare, was found GUILTY again of aggressive solicitation after a pedestrian complaint. Eli was like a cat on a hot tin roof. . . Very nervous before the judge. What does he have to hide. Who are they? TRESOR RARE, 302 King Street, Charleston, SC, has a NO REFUND policy of which they keep the customer in the dark until the sales receipt is signed. No lie is too bold, no promise too preposterous to get you to sign. Smiling foreigners with thick accents, dressed in black, give only a first name or an alias. WHO ARE THEY? Ex-IDF Israeli soldiers and Italians. "The aggressive maneuvers utilized by the Israeli salespeople, coupled with the fact that many of them are working illegally, have roused the suspicions of the FBI, US Homeland Security, embassies around the world trying to combat labor fraud, and journalists who are uncovering questionable sales tactics.” (1, 2) PRODUCTS: Dead Sea Premier Cosmetics Laboratories (Hebrew: פרמייר מעבדות ים המלח) is an Israeli cosmetics and skincare company that manufactures its products using minerals from the Dead Sea. The products are mostly petrochemicals sold at exorbitant prices by most stores. STORES: Tresor Rare (302 King), Adore Organics (318 King), and Resveralife (343 King), Gratiae Premier (GPE), Premier Dead Sea Cosmetics, Oro gold, Vine Vera, Supreme, Krystals, Lionesse, Luxury Cosmetics, Seacret, Deep Sea, and their shell corporate owners, King Lion, Universal Handicraft, and Mazal Enterprises. They pop up in mall kiosks and tourist destinations. Tresor Rare pays a higher rent per sq. ft. than other stores on King Street because the scam against Charlestonians and tourists is very lucrative. How do they make big bucks? AGGRESSIVE SALES & NO REFUND. They are trained to: 1. Lure unsuspecting pedestrians into the store with free samples or compliments. 2. Use the right amount of charm and false claims during the under-eye miracle cream demo. Jack-up the price, then discount for any bogus reason. Hide there is "no refund.” 3. Invite for a "free” facial, which is really another hard core, one-to-three-hour sales pitch. Gain their trust. Reduce price from $40k to $15k, today only. Offer "free gifts.” Confuse. Coerce. Lie. Why not? The credit card company won’t believe the customer anyway. When scammed customers attempt to return the unopened product, show them the small print at the bottom of the sales receipt, "No Refund,” and mock them. Refer them to customer service for the infamous run around and delay scam. Pocket the high commission and keep smiling. My tip to the customer: Demand a refund in the store. Don’t leave. Then file a BBB report. Write a review at (1) Tresor Rare-Charleston, (2) Ripoff Report, (3) Pissed Customer. WHERE TO REPORT unwanted and aggressive solicitation: Office of Livability and Tourism at 843-805-3226 or email Director Dan Riccio, [email protected] Call Meg at 843-958-6407. 1. Better Business Bureau rating for Tresor Rare in Florida and Georgia- F 2. Multiple FDA violations 3. False representation 4. Aggressive sales tactics 5. Random pricing to get the highest possible sales commissions ($300, $2,000, $8,000) 6. NO written agreement, price list, invoice, or brochures for the customer. 7. No refund when customer is allergic to product 8. No refund if product is never shipped. 9. Coercion, lies, threats, and intimidation. MY COMPLAINT: Tresor Rare - Charleston. Current status: No refund. I was lured into the store by a very pleasant Israeli ex-soldier, Vanessa L. I avoid cosmetic departments and perfume stores because of allergies to cologne and perfumes, but these eye products were described as "natural.” Vanessa placed the jars in the tot bag so I couldn’t read the long list of chemical ingredients. I ended up with product that I can’t use. The next ambush was a "facial” (a 3-hour aggressive sales con). After being coerced to buy, I called to cancel and drove to the store to return the products which were all unopened and still in the packaging. Eli rushed in and demanded that I look at the receipt -- at the very bottom where you don't notice, "no refund.” He said that he told me. That was a lie. They are vultures. TRESOR RARE’S "NO REFUND” Credit Card RIPOFF Because I signed the sales receipt for $8,020, Eli smirked, "I win. You lose.” The "tax exempt” products were never shipped. Eli and Jacob’s response to my USAA credit card dispute contained 12 lies that USAA believed and will force me to pay $8,020 for product never delivered. However, our local Wells Fargo team is requiring a shipping invoice. These unscrupulous hawkers are giving out free samples to unsuspecting pedestrians to lure, lie, and loot our tourists on King Street and the gentle people of Charleston. Call 843-805-3226 if they block your path with their body, arm, or hand, or touch you, squirt product in your face or rub cream on you while you are on the sidewalk or apply cream to your hand or face in the shop without your permission. If they make it difficult to leave the shop, call 911. Consumer Affairs said to yell at the top of our lungs if that happens. That will stop the aggressive con men. File a police report.
