I was a student of trillium college in Feb 2013 for a video game design program. Some of my classmates had went through Niagara college before attending the course I was taking. I was a complete beginner among a class of intermediate students. Some parts of the course was beginner other was advanced. The teacher of the course even mentioned that some lessons he was teaching can't be fully taught to the class due to time. I felt I missed out on a proper education. Some parts of the course needed more time to explain and go through then the time we were allowed. During those advanced lessons a lot of it was copy and paste. I didn't properly learn anything while I was there. The course felt more for people who actually went and did five years on the subject and decided to attend the course as a refresher.
I quit the course because it became to difficult for me. I left in August of 2013.i had done 27weeks of the 37 weeks of my course. Skip ahead five years later I received a letter from a collection agency that I owe trillium college money. I used osap to pay for the whole course and now trillium college saying I owe them 10k. If I known that I would still have to pay even after signing up for osap I would have not gone and took the course. They are a bunch of money grabbing thieves. They did not give me any notice in 2013 all the way to 2015 and now they are saying I owe them money five years later. If you do any courses with trillium college expect them to go after your money without any notice or letter. They will try destroy anybody's life by destroying your credit score and making you file for bankruptcy.
