Actually, I've worked for several call centers where they tell us if we are being recorded that we are to advise them they need to turn off the recording, or we are to POLITELY end the call. In this day and age of business 'cover your a*s', they want to be the only ones in charge of the recordings. Of course the easy solution is just to not tell them they're being recorded. With all the underhanded, illegal crap they pull, I wouldn't even give it a second thought.
