VETERINARIANS AND VETERINARY PRODUCT DISTRIBUTORS BEWARE!!!!!!!
Starting in the summer of 2010, Todd Stefaniak and his company, WTF Wholesale, began stealing from veterinarians by ordering flea and tick products and not paying them after product was received. Many of these vets had been doing business with WTF Wholesale for more than 2 or 3 years. More than 100 veterinarians were the victims of this theft and the total amount stolen topped well over a million dollars and likely into the multiples of millions. Many vets suffered personal losses of $25K to $50K or more and some were forced into collections or bankruptcy because of Stefaniak. This is how he treats his hard working veterinary clients...by stealing from them with no remorse.
The theft continued until Friday, August 19th, 2010. That day WTF closed their doors and said they "went out of business due to a weak economy". Never declared bankruptcy, just dissolved the business without any forewarning to the veterinarians owed money. The following Monday they reopened as True Lines Distributing. Same employees, same building (1620 S. Clyde Morris Blvd, 3rd Floor), same business but now they were pre-paying vets for their purchases, likely with the capital made from product theft. WTF Wholesale and Todd Stefaniak are currently being sued by 15 veterinarians in Volusia County, Florida. You can see those records on the county court website.
In the fall of 2010 another company called True Science Holdings was established in the same building and began receiving the shipments for True Lines at 771 Fentress Blvd. in Daytona Beach. Not long after this they became associated with True Science in Eagle, Idaho, a company owned by Scott Adcock, Cord Christensen and Kevin Kennedy. All products ordered for both True Science companies were received in Daytona Beach, FL. Interestingly, in November of 2011 a new company showed up as the owner of True Lines Distributing on the City of Daytona Beach website....a company called D.A.N. Supply, owned by none other than Scott Adcock and Cord Christensen.
Throughout the summer, fall and winter of 2010 and 2011 True Science began building the foundation for an online veterinary pharmacy business by establishing a presence (either LLC or out-of-state pharmacy wholesaler license) in 46 states. Their current website is www.truescience.com. True Science also handles flea and tick products and Todd Stefaniak has become their head of sales, even though he claims he knows absolutely nothing about True Lines Distributing or True Science Holdings.
On January 23, 2012 an SEC filing shows True Science has magically become a $20 million dollar company with the help of Chief executive officers Scott Adcock, Cord Christensen, Kevin Kennedy, Todd Stefaniak and James Clarke of the Yellowstone Partners investment group. The minimum capital investment in this company was $330K.......it is likely Stefaniaks portion of this investment came from money stolen from his veterinarian clients. Not sure how he can become an executive officer of a corporation he knows nothing about.
If you are a veterinarian and are contemplating ordering any kind of product for True Science or True Lines Distributing, DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these companies or Scott Adcock, Cord Christensen, Kevin Kennedy, James Clark or Todd Stefaniak. You will LOSE! They have stolen from vets in the past, have built their current online business with stolen money and they will do it again.
If you are a company contemplating ordering veterinary products from True Science or True Lines Distributing, please understand that you are doing business with criminals and it is likely they are able to undercut the competition because of the money they have stolen from vets and possibly from investors. These companies are dirty and dishonest. If you don't believe me, try calling True Lines Distributing and ask the who their company officers are. Todd Stefaniak will deny all of the above and assure you none of this happened. It did and I was one of the innocent victims of his crime.
If you are a victim of this fraud, have questions about any of the above companies or can contribute information to an ongoing investigation into this web of theft, please contact Mike Mittelman, a private investigator in the Daytona Beach area who has been working this case from the beginning. (386) 383-7222 or
[email protected]. Mike has been in contact with well over a hundred veterinary victims of this crime as well as multiple arms of law enforcement and can help by shedding some light on the case.
