Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

On 10.14.2009 I had ordered a 3-1 credit bureau report from Truecredit.com.  In doing so they billed my Banks Atm Card and commandered a Chase credit card  and pended two unauthorizeed transactions against it. I did take the necessay action to protect my self from these scamsters. I will also report Truecredit.com to the FTC, The office ofthe attoney general, public inquiry unit, and also had my credit card company (Chase) block any further incoming transactions from the old card aswell as to block this merchant.  Because I consider this fraud, Iam really surprised that a credit bureau such as truecredit a subsidiary of Transunion would actually resort to this. I also infored their corporate (transunion) of any future attempts to try  to charge me again.  I really think  a class action lawsuit is in order for this corporation

I am glad I got a confirmation from online credit reports.  Actually the next time I get a  credit report, I will obtain one directly from the Mail. Not by ordering one through the  internet.  DO NOT USE A COMPUTER and render your Credit Card or any Debit card from any bank to any credit bureau whatsoever!!!!!!!! Just get the address of Experian, Equifax,or Transunion, and send a money  order - NOT A CHECK which contains your routing and account information which is just as bad.!!!!!.

Just order a plain and simple credit report only by mail and enclose your money order.  Credit scores are worthless and don't mean a thing anymore today. This is another scam in itself.  I will provide you with the addresses of the credit bureaus for you convenience:

                                   Experian

                                   701 Experian Parkway

                                   Allen, Texas, 75013

==============================================================

                                   Equifax  LLC

                                   POB 740241

                                   Atlanta. Georgia 30374-0241

==============================================================

                                   Transunion  Credit Services

                                    POB 2000

                                    Chester. PA 19022

=============================================================

Realize that it is more convenient to order one online, but it is not worth the

aggravation. Plus it takes 7-10 business days to get a personal credit report

through the mail. Also a money order is a much safer way of sending money

because it has a serial #, and you can cancel, stop payment or get a refund case

it gets lost in the mail......So this is one way to avoid the online scams of the credit

bureaus.  This goes for ordering online nowadays if you don't know who you are

dealing with. [ Get the Phone # and Fax ofthe merchant ] but most important - send you order, money order through the mail by certified return receipt mail so this way if you dont get your merchandise you have legal recourse through consumer affairs, the  BBB etc,  because of mail fraud consequences. before ordering look up the merchant through the BBB and look at (1) Rating, # of complaints,  etc. If the  rating is below a "B"  FORGET IT and this goes for the dot.coms as well.  also notate the serial # of the money order for your records as well.

Sometimes it worth the inconvenience, to prevent aggravation, because  internet fraud and scams are right next to identity theft;

Hope this is helpful R. Layton

Just wanted to let you know of a ripoff that I encountered recently. In November 2009 out of curiosity I went to freecreditreprt.com just to see what kind of lies they were showing. I knew that there is no such thing as a free report through these types of places so I wanted to see what kind things they were doing. I spent a little time looking at the main page but never went into any of the links and never signed up for anything. In December I had a charge on my debit card for 11.95 from True credit. I called the 800 number provided with the charge on my on-line bank account and was connected with what turned out to be TransUnion. I learned after bantering back and forth on identity information that I had set up an account with them in November to monitor my credit. I told them that I had never done any such thing and where did they get the info. I was informed the account was set up through my late wife's email. So I asked when they had set up a server with heaven because my wife had passed away in May. No answer.

    Turns out what I had done was I had gone on to the site using my wife's computer and the email is still usable. What I guess happened is that while I was on true credit report they stole  info off the computer and sold that to TransUnion then set up the account. I canceled the account and contested the charge. I received an email confirming the cancellation and a request to fill out a one question survey. When I clicked on to the link it took me to truecreditt.com  which is TransUnion's site and there was no survey just their main page with all the programs to sign up for. I suppose that beings I was there Info was again stolen and in the next month or so I again will be billed for their services.
    I have already gone through the inconvenience of canceling my debit card and getting a new one and contesting the charge. Now with this happening I will most likely have to do all this again.
   This is just information I wanted to pass along and let you know that credit report agencies are not a safe place to visit and your information is not safe and is for sale.
