I was drawn in by the free sample, product demonstration, free "facial" at the Cherry Creek Mall in Denver, my first visit to this mall. The brand name at the mall kiosk (Obey Your Body) is not the same as the product lines at the Gold Elements business. Unfortunately. I too fell for the smooth talking salesmen at both locations. I was duped out of a several housand dollars. I told myself I was not going to purchase any thing, yet here I am same as thousands others feeling like an idiot.
I already felt I had spent too much $500 at the kiosk, but went for the free facial several days later. This was not a facial but a cleverly orchestrated demo of the Truffiore product line. I was impressed enough with the product, like other posts I've read the price started high, was reduced for a limited time as Neil had to drive to Aspen, store would be closed due to Shabbat (Neil is Jewish). Neil got approval from his logistics manager to sweeten the deal and five me $1200 worth of products free, the lies go on and on.
I do not recall seeing any sign in the cubicle space stating all sales are,final, no refunds. This does not show up on the customer copy of the transaction receipt. It does show up in the soft copy itemized receipt they send via email (stated I read and agreed to this policy, which is not true). I feel I have no options because was a consumer, I had the option to walk away, say no, etc. Plain and simple, I was beguiled..just like Eve by the evil one in the garden of Eden. Buyers beware. Expensive lesson learned for me and my teen. Never accept free samples, never trust two faced sale people, never accept any "free" services. None of this was free, I made dearly with hard earned money.
