My Hawaiian dream vacation was ruined after I stopped in for a "free sample" of their eye serum. When asked if I could spare twenty minutes for a facial, I mistakenly accepted. I felt like a hostage and every time I attempted to leave, another product was applied to get rid of lines and wrinkles. I am ashamed I did not keep saying no as the price of the Perfectio Zero Galaxy fell from $4,600 to $1,500 including many products. The pressure to purchase something is unbelievable! Chanel is good at her job and she saw a sucker coming when I accepted the facial.
A couple of hours after I left and saw that anything tightened had loosened, I attempted to call the store to cancel the shipment of products. (I did not notice their "all sales are final, no refunds, no returns" postings.) There were no answers to the ringing phone and there was no apparatus to leave a message or text.
The pressure to purchase something was fierce and I am ashamed to admit I fell for it. Hook, line and sinker. I will never walk into a skincare establishment again. I am contacting the Hawaiian Office of Consumer Protection ... and Kane is looking forward to working with them.
