TRX is a Tax Software company that is distributing tax software that does not work.  This is crazy.  When it did not work, I called them to get a refund on my money.  The person I spoke with stated that I would not be getting a full refund and that they would be taking $150.00 out of my refund.  Also, I had to write a letter to them asking for the refund and stating why, I wanted my refund, eventhough after they themselves could not get it to work after letting them get into my system through the internet. 

After speaking to them I immediately put the letter together, even putting the amount paid for the pro software package, and mailed it priority.  I have been waiting for over six weeks and still did not receive my refund.  So, I received a letter dated 4/15/15 stating they were glad to have me as a customer and look forward to serving me for 2016 year.  I was upset that they would do this, when they software for 2014 did not even work and they still had not sent me my refund.

I called and was told they would have their supervisor call me right back.  This did not happen.  I had to call them back and spoke with Karen Billing, and she would not even talk to me after telling me I was not entitled to a refund.  After asking her why, should I not receive the refund, when you know your software did not work and I had to purchase other software to complete my taxes.  Then I let her know the letter was sent to them via Priority Mail and it got to their office in two days, and when I check my tracking number it showed that it was delivered.

Then she said, "What is the tracking number, it does not show I ever received a letter from you."  Then she proceeded to say, that she needed it before she could finish speaking with me.  Then of course I am upset by this time, and had to get off the phone get the information as to when the letter was sent and the tracking number. 

After calling her back, she still told me I would not get the refund and have to wait another 6 weeks before receiving my refund.  This was after she had been given the tracking number.  I definitely will not be doing business with this company again.
