We took our Toyota in for repair and they kept our car for 10 months. We finally involved the Bureau of Automotive Repair and they put pressure on the owner (Alex Fara/a.k.a. Al Faramandi/a.k.a Pro Masters Performance Inc.) to fix it and made him promise they would pay us $800 for the inconvenience. They delivered the vehicle with an incredibly shoddy repair job that had an oil leak that leaked a 1/4 cup of oil everywhere we drove. Also, the interior had motor oil all over it and the air conditioner no longer worked. We finally had to sell it for $500 for parts. He never paid us the $800. We took them to court and won $6600 (Downey Courthouse, case #15D02508).
He has never paid us the $800 he promised us and the Bureau of Automotive Repair nor the $6600 we were awarded. We are proceeding with further legal action now. Be aware that Tune Up Masters' license status (license number 262234) at the Bureau of Automotive Repair has been cancelled (found here: http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/WLLQRYNA$LCEV2.QueryView?P_LICENSE_NUMBER=262234&P_LTE_ID=1101). Avoid these guys!!!! They have screwed up our vehicle to the point that we had to sell it and he has not kept his word with us nor has he paid us the money he owes from the loss of the small claims case. Avoid them and beware!!

Al Faramandi/a.k.a Pro Masters Performance Inc.) to fix it and made him promise they would pay us $800 for the inconvenience. They delivered the vehicle with an unacceptable repair job that had an oil leak that leaked a 1/4 cup of oil everywhere we drove. Also, the interior had motor oil all over it and the air conditioner no longer worked. We finally had to sell it for $500 for parts. He never paid us the $800. He has never paid us the $800 he promised us and the Bureau of Automotive Repair nor the full balance of the $6600 (+ $75 court fees) we were awarded. Apparently Tune Up Masters' license status (license number 262234) at the Bureau of Automotive Repair has been cancelled (found here: http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/WLLQRYNA$LCEV2.QueryView?P_LICENSE_NUMBER=262234&P_LTE_ID=1101).
