Turner Heating And Air Chris Beware, Your AC Unit May Not Be Bad. Lied To By Company Calhoun Georgia
Turner Heating and Air of Calhoun, Ga came to my home to repair my heating in January. The Company claimed to send out their best representative, Chris, M. I had done business with the Company before and thought they had done me great service. Immediately, when this problem occured, I contacted them. I was told that my heating system was low on freon. I was charged $185. I asked the service man what the problem was and he replied a leak. I assumed he fixed the leak with the charge. I began to call the company but was told not to worry by Chris. It was 2 weeks later and my system was not working. I contacted the company and told them that my unit was not repaired. Immediately, the person on the phone started talking about dye checks, etc. I didn't know what he was talking about. I just wanted to know why they had charged me to fix a leak and didn't even check for a leak.
Chris M. contacted me by phone. He told me my unit was destroyed and that I would have to buy a new one. I had used Turner Heating and Air in the past and it came to my memory that the last time I had a leak that they sold me a used unit when I had a leak. Making a long story short. Tiurner Heating and Air then informed me that they did not check for leaks. They had done this to me before. They tell you that your unit is destroyed and then take the unit to a warehouse where they fix the leak and sell to another customer. Why do I know this??? The service man had forgotten that years prio while working on my last unit, he told me they took the units back to a warehouse and stored them. It was later confirmed to me by the Company that repaired my unit in a matter of 20minutes for $85. I had to listen to how he received a $40,000 brand new red truck for all his sales, etc. and how he was so important to the company and making them money. Yes, he is making the company money but by fraud. My unit was not destroyed and was fixed immedately by another company. I asked for a partial refund, they declined. In fact, I kept my messages, they are not professional of a Company working for this type of business.
Ripped Off !! Yes. Don't ever let them put freon in your unit without checking for a leak. They will refuse to check it anyway claiming to be in a hurry but will also take your money and then refuse your calls.
